- After playing Beat Saber in VR, I wondered if I could create a similar rhythm game in Minecraft by hitting flowers with corresponding color swords. Now I've taken that concept to the next level by creating a playable music video that anyone can try! This version was made to work in vanilla Minecraft, so I took advantage of specific tools having right click functionality to mimic dual wielding hits.

PLAY THE MAP - Minecraft Setup Instructions
1. Install Minecraft Java Edition (The map runs on version 1.14.4)
- In the launcher under installations, select new. Under version select 1.14.4 release.
- Click play
2. Download the world and resource pack zip files from this link: drive.google.com/drive/folder...
3. Unzip the Funny_BeatCraft file. You need to put the folder inside into your minecraft saves folder in the .minecraft directory. If you need help finding this folder:
Windows computers
Press Win+R, then type %appdata%\.minecraft, then press Ok.
OS X
In the Finder, from the Go menu, select 'Go to Folder', then type: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft, and click Go.
4. Unzip the Zedd-Funny_ResourcePack and move it into the resourcepacks folder in the .minecraft directory. You can navigate here by using the method in step 2 also. Set this as your selected resource pack above default in game under Options - Resource Packs.
Then you should be all set! The world will appear when you click singleplayer. Play the world and more instructions on how to play the game are written on signs in the spawn area.

@svenm sandity ok let’s say he did use a mod, but minecraft reach is different from beat saber, you might hit it too early or too late, which makes it harder lol

This guy is an absolute legend. He has improved since the last video on Beat Craft and he is insane. The amount of time and effort it takes to make these maps and also the amount of patience it takes to make these maps are insane. The timings are on point, and I really loved the last video, but this just took it way above my expectations. Thanks DoodleChaos for making this amazing video and thanks Zedd for making the music video and collaborating with him to make this video possible. I love rhythm games which is why I'm very impressed with how he mapped and made this with Zedd. Anyways, whoever's reading this, have a good day, and enjoy my comment.
Itsyolyfriendplayz just saying the maps arent that hard to make you can literally just world edit the path and do what you want with the track

1. a mod/plugin
2. cutting (worldediting) the grass under a flower
3. broken chunks (but thats highly unlikely for the ENTIRE ROAD to be broken)

Watching this for the 5th or 6th time...I noticed that at the part at the beginning about "a dozen dying roses at our feet" he destroys exactly 12 red flowers before switching to another weapon. Also, when it first gets to the part about "last time I checked, you're the one that left" is when the *leaves* start showing up (and getting burned). The level of detail is amazing

Yo I've been binge watching your vids for the past hour and it's so sick! Also I loved how you used duel wielding a lot more in this one, it made it seem more like an actual beat saber game. I've never actually played beat saber but I feel like I'd prefer this over the real one lol, the bow shots, the timing of placing, breaking, and hitting stuff, it just looks so much fun. Also I wish bedrock had a duel wielding system that works better cause I ain't got a pc to play java on :(

I find it interesting that I keep periodically coming back to this Minecraft Music Video of yours. The newer ones seem a lot more challenging to make, and as a creator I find that awesome! Yet as a consumer I think those more simpler ones let the music shine a lot more while still being "wow this rhythm game was all was done in Minecraft!"
It's all very game-y with the matching tools and hit targets, plus the eventual "Wow!" factor of the arrow trick shots (and that one ghast bounce). And then there's a twist with all those funky little spins you did and suddenly there's lyrics! Also love the way you're enjoying yourself at the end with the little jiggle.
Well, I still really like the new content nonetheless. Anyways, here's a long comment no one will read! Cheers for the small joys of life!
