Awesome plane. You mentioned aircraft for paraplegic pilots. Have you built a paraplegic version? And if so how did you incorporate rudder control? Last question, can you take off with the jet or does it just boost / sustain flight? Very keem paraplegic this end drewling all over his keyboard ;)
It is "just" a sustainer , because the engine has very few power on ground . A jet needs the increesed airpressure caused by the flying speed to provide the power to accelarate or to climb . I dont know it but i guess with a car tow or a aircraft tow to 10m and 120km/h you could start on your own . Without this I guess you will need a asphalt runway with a length of 1000m to get into the air... 😬
Instead of the super hot turbine , why not design a small hydrogen peroxide rocket, just steam, an even smaller drag and no risk of a fire etc. A nozzle to produce the equivalent of 30 hp as a sustainer would be as narrow as a salt or pepper shaker.
Flippin lekka. You guys rock!!! Make me feel saam proudly South African. Show those Germans some Potch carrots🤙🏻🐝
I must have one!

@@Winniethepopo thanks for the feedback!
@@Winniethepopo There is a video of it taking off on its own on grass . It needs a long run to get airspeed . But once it does , it climes fast
@@welshpete12 can you send the link ? Because i just know a video where it is aerotowed with the jet extended and running

That panel seems impossible to reach from the fully seated position.
Why do you need to reach it?
Can the JS3 self launch using only the jet?
no its a sustainer engine
@@kjell4958 thx
Yes it does , there is a video of it on RUclips doing so .
Love them, unfortunately out of my economic reach...
