I miss being an early 2000s kid I'm already 31 and 20 years ago wasn't too long ago to me Gen-Z can say what they want but 20 years ago wasn't that long ago and I was like about 12 years old from now I hate the person who invented SmartTVs and we should of just stuck with basic flatscreen panels and CRT TVs I remember not too long ago before SmartTVs became mainstream in 2009 we used CRT TVs as Roku because we thought it could kill cable prices we were really wrong now everything is worse and even more expensive. I wish being an adult was just a nightmare because I wish Gen-Z would disappear and the early 2000s would make a comeback being an adult in the late 2000s is stressing me out and I'm not liking taxes or anything I miss our older consoles we had growing up as kids and Gen-Z is just ruining everything thanks for uploading this I'm really depressed about all the cool things are being "phased" out of existence I need this to at least bring back some sanity my brother is even trying to buy me a used Nintendo Wii or a Wii U because we can't afford anything because of inflation we're suffering over here big time because of the Gen-Z non sense going on wish us luck on recovering from this because we need it.
I feel the same way. I hope you get to feel less anxious soon. I try to see the good in the bad, and opportunity in the wild times we have. We can preserve things from the past, and try and create things that have that same soul in the present. Check out the Murphy & Mitzi short animations on youtube for an example of what I mean. It has a ton of the 2000s aesthetic and watching them comforted me when I felt like the world I loved died. Getting a used 3DS also helped me.
SmartTVs are a different breed from what you describe, I believe flatscreens of the 2000s were cool before a lot of unneccesary installments came along.

I hardly classify as Gen Z and to be honest I hate how stupid most of Gen Z is but that's no reason to say "get rid of Gen Z and bring back the 2000s" Because did you forget who pushed for all the smart TVs? Who made all the choices leading up until now money wise? Sure as hell wasnt a load of stupid kids.
