Ratio 1:1 means that one part of the first quantity is equivalent to the one part of the other quantity for a particularly given unit. 1 quantity of water : 1 quantity of a plaster powder

Is it okay to use DAS Airdry modelling clay? I don't have other clays available here in my country.
I used Das n it's worked very well but I couldn't use it again as it got so dry...

De que está elaborada la primera Masa que usó para hacer el molde y en que proporciones pone los materiales? Y el yeso para hacer ya el cuadro, que cantidad de agua y cuantas cucharadas de yeso usó también? Y cuando tiempo de secado le dió al molde para poder usarlo? Muchas felicidades, muy bonito
Do you need to wait for the clay to dry before putting the plaster mix in? Great video by the way
Sophie Martyn No, even though it’s an air drying modeling clay there is no need to let it dry. I just use this kind of the clay because it’s soft enough for pressing 😊🙌 You can also reuse the clay. Just rinse some plaster with water and put into plastic package and hermetically sealed box.

Подскажите пожалуйста, если я хочу сделать патину на барельефе, это делать до или после нанесения varnish? Или к примеру, подкрасить красками, нужно ли после этого наносить varnish опять? Спасибо большое Вам!
Tanya Mertes,здравствуйте! БОЛЬШОЕ спасибо, что оценили мои работы.Очень приятно!!)) ... первый слой лака наносится для того, чтобы краска не ‘’проваливалась’’в гипс. После окрашивания ( акриловые краски), обязательно защитный слой лака. Некоторые мастера используют акварель и окрашивают сразу сырое изделие ( без первого слоя лака). Попробуйте для себя разные варианты ( вначале на небольших работах). ... патину покрывают лаком ( матовым или глянцевым) . Желаю Вам радости в творчестве и полёта фантазии!!))

Здравствуйте, Elena! Сам оттиск я делаю на самоотвердевающей глине т.к. она очень нежная и мягкая (её можно использовать несколько раз. Главное - хранить герметично). Оттиск можно делать на любой глине или на пластилине. Гипс я покупаю в магазине для хобби или в магазине для художников. А чтобы готовое изделие было прочным - надо учитывать плотность гипса. В российских магазинах лучше покупать гипс с индексом Г19. Желаю успехов!))

I use air dry clay, I toyed plaster of Paris but is isn’t as hard and robust as gypsum. Its easily available in DIY shops and not that expensive either.
What did you use to make the frame for the piece on the back to pour on the plaster; it looked like it was plastic.

KLEVER but can you use plaster of paris if I can’t get gypsum?
Casting plaster from the hardware store works well and plaster of Paris is mostly gypsum and would work.

Sirve cualquier color de arcilla? La arcilla de modelar es lo mismo q la arcilla polimerica? Anna Mikado , я рада, что Вам понравилось! БЛАГОДАРЮ!!)) ... я использую для оттиска самоотвердевающую глину ( она уже готова к работе - нежная и мягкая). Её можно использовать несколько раз ( главное- очень герметично хранить!). Эту глину можно купить в магазине для хобби или заказать по интернету. Желаю успехов в творчестве!!))

Для контура можно использовать любые пластиковые упаковки ( предварительно удалив дно). Творческого Вам вдохновления!) 😊🌱🌸✨

Aren't snow drops protected?
Whatever you do, just don't do this with plaster of paris. Tried Two times. Took 3 days to cure, then broke apart as I was removing the mold. Yup. Every time. Looking for a better plaster to use.

Добрый день, Marykor UA! Эту глину можно использовать несколько раз. После применения её нужно немного увлажнить и очень!! герметично упаковать. Желаю успехов!

Добрый день! подскажите пожалуйста почему глина вся остаётся кусками на руках,столе,на скалке.Расход большой получается.У Вас как тесто однородной массы,а у меня твердое но при этом кусками будто разлагается.Храню в холодильнике в мокрой тряпке и пакете🤷🏼♀️
Добрый день! Глину перед оттиском нужно тщательно размять руками ( небольшими порциями). Тогда она согреется в Ваших руках. Будет намного мягче и эластичнее. При необходимости- глину можно слегка увлажнить. Это как тесто для пирогов тщательно замешивают). Можно посмотреть ролики в интернете - как приготовить глину к работе. Успехов!) 😊🌱🌸✨
