- Super Princess Peach is one of my favorite games from my childhood, and for this Valentine's Day, we're looking back on everything good the game has to offer. Especially ahead of the release of Princess Peach: Showtime!, it's important to look back on what made this game great before it ends up even more overshadowed. This game is good! You guys are just mean!

One of my earliest memories of this game was making a boss rush video recreation with some plushes and stuffed animals I used to have
I can also confirm that I loved this game, and I wish it wasn't so obscure/treated so poorly nowadays. So good in fact, my cousin actually stole the cartridge from me when I wasn't looking years ago. I miss it ;c
Still wish we got a sequel to super princess peach dealing with Perry’s backstory and maybe the evil wizard and the henchmen who cursed him could’ve been the main antagonists.
It’s really interesting to see Mario Luigi and toad all tied up and then thrown in jail. (I wish the later part of the game actually did more to distinguish Toad himself but I believe he’s the one you rescue from Blizzaurus since Luigi is rescued from Giant Kamek.

I really like this game as I played it quite a bit as a kid. I didn’t beat it until a couple of years ago though as you need all the toads to unlock the final level. I still have my original cartridge.
While I'll admit you made me realize this game is much better than I remember, the fact that you just HAVE to get all the Toads just to ACCESS the last level still ruins the game for me. Like, it would have been nice to be given that information at the START of the game, y'know??
Also the best Peach game is still Mario 2 ✌️
I think this is the fastest I’ve ever been informed something in my video was wrong LOL (I know that was not your intention haha). I collected all the Toads as I went along so I genuinely didn’t realize the last world was locked otherwise.
Still holding out for Bowser 3 to come out this year 🤞
I’ve always wanted to play this game, especially after Showtime got announced. This video makes me think it might be time for me to finally get around to it :D
