"kinda weird to be observing people" the human brain naturally locks in on things that are abnormal, so if you are in an area where you expect people to look like you, and someone shows up that doesnt look like you and looks more like the opposite, you will take notice, just like if a trans man pre-op went into a mans locker room, most normal men would want that to not happen as there are people out there who might take advantage of that, would they in view of other men? i doubt it, hence why the conversation is around trans women where is a man in a womans space
and as you said, biology doesnt lie, there are loads of diseases and cancers an stuff that mainly target either male or female, young or old, things of that nature, these people think taking some hormones magically fools nature? no, it is literally a mental illness, or was considered as such until recently, maybe when doctors and politicians decided they could make money and votes off of it
