still lives up one of best scenes :). i remember the behind the scenes, where they had to tape up the front of helicopter with matching coloured tape as the scene hitting the ambulance. went wrong first time.

the loss of a tail rotor will not induce a crash, simply pitching forward and lowing the cyclic will stop the spin but moving forward the airflow over the tail stops the spin.
There is a procedure to land with loss of tail rotor called autorotation, this was all a bit dramatic
@@DashDriver-z1r Technically correct but only if the main rotor fails, The tail rotor stops the counterspin, it's why cyclic down will reduce the spin as the blade pitch does what the tail would do, Cyclic up would cause spin as the blades change pitch. The best way to land with no tail is to pitch forward and gain speed which allows it to move with no spin, then while moving forward gain height, enough height so that when you eventually decide to land the spin is countered by the dropping of the height.

I know it's all fiction, but that's why children must only fly drones under adult supervision, and all drone pilots, whether children or adults, should keep the drone where they can see it at all times during flight and not operate it where there are low flying aircraft.
and watch out for Aliens, too. Cuz more people have been taken by aliens, than aircraft brought down by drones. Next weeks episode: Man spontaneously combusts due to Covid!

@@nathansmiddy no. If you actually bothered to watch the rest, you’d know that the boy was so apologetic towards the surgeon in the hospital. However, the surgeon reacted with hostility towards him, shouting at him and saying that it was the boy’s fault and showing him an unconscious patient who was being wheeled by, before assaulting him.
How are you surprised, plenty of people would do something like that and walk away like "You know what, I'm gonna pretend that wasn't my fault and play Roblox for the rest of the day"

This didn’t experience to everybody , but it is actually behind the scenes
I know this was done by seasoned professionals in the filmmaking industry and stunts but how they made this scene that realistic is beyond me.
We sure hated that kid at the end of this episode.

It’s a shame it’s hard to get back into Eastenders, because no matter which episode you choose you will not know what something is about and wanna go back just one more episode, and so on, and so on… I managed it though, managed to get all the way to page 1 on IPlayer & then I forgot and it became too overwhelming again but yeah Eastenders has so many absolutely batshit insane episodes, TV gold, yes but way over the top. lol Especially if you go back to the mid to late 00s!

Read my question for a start I said "a drone like that" inferring that the drone is small and light and a helicopter is big and heavy so my question wasn't implying how did the helicopter crash it was more based on the circumstance involving the drone 🤷♂️

the scene looks fine, and rather dramatic, but if you know at least little about helicopters... you know something like that wouldn't happen that easily

None of this is his fault he accidentally sent the drone up and crashed into the helicopter and went down.
He was unsupervised. How big is that drone compared to that air ambulance? It only took out the tail rotor out, but that was all it took to destabilise the helicopter and cause it to crash. An unsupervised child with a device like that can cause harm. Sure, it's only a drama on TV, but there's nothing stopping that from happening in real life. The child needed to be supervised while flying the drone, and even then, he should have kept it where he and his supervising parent/guardian could see it.
Hospital Airspace is restriced Airspace... never should have had a drone in that area
@@MrSupercar55thanks for the details and the facts maybe the adult should be telling the kid not to fly it near the helicopter none this would happen but your right about you said unsupervised kid should not operate a drone or a device.

@@Zanthe helicopter tail rotor blades are not as tough as you think and are designed to break upon an impact with any object that they impact
@@Zanthe Birds tear up jet engines on airplanes. Those blades are lightweight and complex, moving at speeds that would cut your head off. You only need to damage them a little to throw them out of function.
