It's hard to get over that Valley West Mall looks like that. I remember at Christmas time, Malls were packed Wall to Wall. I used to Go to the Malls All the time. Sad that this has happened.
@snake9911 this was a most popular mall in Central west des moines for the longest time too. They built Jordan Creek mall and it's still booming but for the longest time it didn't effect it that bad.
@MrChad676 Jordan Creek has taken a lot of business away from the other Malls because of the size of it. That's the only Mall In the Area that is crowded this Days.
@jameshall9402 I just took them to the Mall of America back in July. So while we sat there today I asked them if they remember how many people were there? They responded yes. I explained when I was close to their age the mall we were at was just as busy as that place was and now it's empty. I used to go to this mall all of the time and it's a lot to process seeing it in what is probably it's final days.
