It was an example but still it works very well. All you need to know is how much feeds you either need on a weekly basis or monthly basis and mix those feeds per week or per month depending on the kgs you will need throughout that period.

Do you use Black Soldier Fly leave to feed you chickens too?
If so how do you mix it with other feeds
5 kg can mix 100kg of corn. It’s very nutritious in proteins
