What? Trust China to play by the rules? Those days should be long, long gone.

Could you provide some examples where the CP tries to work on human rights issues, but gets disturbed by critism from the USA or Europe?

The idea, that criticizing a nation only undermines the efforts to change the nation, is so detatched from reality, it makes you question if she's being authentic and not bad faith.

How is the US "lucky" that they get foreigners to study there when the US has the best universities? How is China not the lucky one that the US has made special programs for Chinese students to study in the best schools in the world that they would never have access to otherwise?

Hmm? Now what was it that led to the second world war? That led to the Ukraine war? Oh yes appeasement. Please excuse a ignorant ancient Englishman, but is it fashionable to delve into the back of the throat speak with a bass wobble? Or is it simply an affected American accent? The Kissinger? deep throat is rather off putting and distracting. Never the less l do enjoy stretching my own thinking and opinion when listening to Foreign Affairs, you do have excellent guests, and the interviewer does not ramble on when asking questions. Thank you.
