The moister meter is great for knowing what wood is seasoned before use. I use it for that specific reason, knowing if the wood I am about to use is seasoned. The meter is made of hard and solid plastic. The probes has no trouble getting a good reading on hard wood. The LCD is easy to read and use. It uses a 9v battery that is included. The pouch is nice and made of good quality. The pouch zipper opens and closes with ease. Overall, this is a quality entry level moister meter.
