Some oaks put out acorns sooner than other oaks do. I have a Chestnut oak "Quercus Prinus/ Montana", that had started making acorns at age 7 years, and also English oak "Querus Robur" that had started having acorns on it at about 8 years old. I also have some Nuttalls oaks that are putting out acorns too, and have been for at least the last 4 years. And then I have others who have yet to have any acorns come out on them at all.

I figured out this amazing tree has been the national tree of Germany too! I drew a picture with the help of... ummm...I think I'll search for it and then give a reply back....
