Since being coached by Conchita Martinez, Mirra's game has become much stronger and she is placing balls in more difficult spots. She also hits harder and her movement is better. She is stronger than one or two months ago. On Monday, she will turn 17, which is really very young. She's a tennis prodigy. She will rise very quickly in the WTA rankings. She could become one of the youngest world number 1 in history.

The passion is palpable when she plays.!
She really dismantled Vandrusova in the second set.!
She is court wise at a very young age.
Not to mention how accurate her aim is.
She could be a little bit more brave in going for passing shots?

Against Vondrousova, Andreeva raced out to 4-1 leads in both sets. But she needed to reel the major-winner back in from that early lead in the first set, as she lost four straight games to trail 5-4. She did all that and more by winning nine of the last 10 games, and delivered a sublime serving performance in the second set. She landed 93% of her first serves, and lost just nine points in the set total.

At 17, she's showing championship form. Her court sense and the way she builds points is quite a show and far beyond her years.
