One Flag, but I think it might be time to make a new flag that is inclusive of the original custodians of the land, our First Nations indigenous people. It should take a long time to decide. All sides of the spectrum should be very c careful not to be decisive. It might be time to get rid of the Union Jack. I would like to see the Indigenous flag with a Southern Cross. Any Australian that doesn’t realise you can’t do-away with Indigenous Australians or their distinct relationship to this place and each other, are living in a fantasy.
You can dominate all you like as a majority but it will never persuade our First People away from who they are, what they believe and the primacy of their relationship to this country.
‘Bring us in or leave us out’ - I believe, after all this time of trying to be brought in, many Australians are choosing to leave them out. That’s your prerogative. But do so knowing that efforts grounded in assimilationist policy and undermining efforts toward self-determination, are against the wishes and interests of our First People - how would you react?
This bullshit rhetoric coming from the right side of politics, works only to further seperate and divide us. They know these topic are easy to trigger emotional debates and responses - exploiting flashpoint issues to prime people up for votes.
@@mosisusasu9205 its a flag who really looks
I bet you wouldn't be saying that if it was the other way around and it was white that was being persecuted by Aboriginal people.
Aboriginal people are Australian, but they also have their own rich cultural identity and history that predates colonization by tens of thousands of years. Having multiple flags isn't about division.. it's about recognition, respect, and inclusion, The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags represent cultures that have existed here far longer than modern Australia, and they stand alongside the national flag to celebrate the diversity of this country, Also Unity doesn’t mean erasing identity; it means respecting and honoring all of it.
How many good men have died defending this great country under the Aussie flag ,,
Its an abominable flag, forced upon us colonials by British rule, One flag yes but make it TRUE Australian
One flag if you are born in Australia you are Australian and under one flag the Australian flag.
Australian flag has a union jacket and it doesn’t represent all Australians is only representing the British of colonising
Bit fragile there bud? 😂
@@kingdomgirl4life Its the Australian National Flag and has been for a long time.

Dutton....
Good on Peter Dutton I say . Their flag is not traditional
Dutton's racism is traditional ex Qld police officer racism. He is not a nice man.
You Gotta Love a Flag that Depicts a Bunyip Flashing a Brown Eye at the Establishment.
(The Union Jack Consists of 3 Flags (a bit Hypocritical you would think))
@@DMSVICAU No. Not hypocritical at all. The Union Jack is 3 flags representing 3 separate and distinct nations all united politically, culturally and socially under one flag that confirms their union... We are one nation under one flag that acknowledges where we began... Totally different situation.
Where did the indigenous flag come from??
@@shelbytops Aboriginal man, Harold Thomas designed the flag. It was first flown at a land rights rally in Adelaide in 1971. In 1972 it was adopted by the Aboriginal Tent Embassy in Canberra... It's an activist flag.
I stand behind the Australian national flag. Australia isn't a multi nation. We are one and should only have one flag
spot on. just because we're made up from diferent people, it dont mean were multy-culty. We are One People..Australians.
Not too bright are you bud 😂

Aussie flag only
Yes a strong leadership 💪 👏
Iv been saying this for years. 3 flags divides us.
We have the flag of a colony pledging inferiority to a foreign power.
Proud Australians are embarrassed by our ridiculous so-called flag.
No it didn't the racist media who wanted you to cry about it with them did, not the flags.
Sure does!
Yes.
Totally agree.
It all our flag.
Respect our indigenous peoples.
Then you don't respect indigenous people, you're fragile.
why do we have to acknowledge indigenous people EVERY DAY ??
is that such a bad thing? just asking cuz I'm a Aboriginal
The world doesn't revolve and turn around only the aboriginals. Have you asked what the other races who have emigrated to Australia may be suffering today? What about the sickening and unlawful persecution of Jewish people today? For having done NOTHING to cause or deserve it! Other races and even white Australians have ALL suffered in their lives, and today are doing that more than we've seen before. I recommend getting out and helping some of those others in their struggles - it's the way to overcome your own self-focus and help realise we are all human beings in need of help.
we have only one flag
Nah we have a lot of flags - navy flags, state flags,
We also have the race finished flags, the pride flags, sport team flags,
Flags are cool
Don’t Forget……..Our Flag has a Flag (that Consists of Three Flags) which Belongs to Another Country in our Flag.

One flag is best for unity. If the majority of Australians can't align with our current flag then we should vote to change the flag. We simply need an agreement of unity based on the majority.
Well it better happen soon then, before the 'new australians' get enough numbers to start change our ways to suit themselves.
Best post yet- Those posters saying one flag, only mention a flag that represents colonial servitude to Britain. You can look at this any way you like, but its a FACT. The'Union' flag (look in the top L hand corner) of the current masterpiece is a Union of 3 countries, So to put things right for all, there could be a union of our 3 flags, to. we are one nation we should be under one nation all aussies no matter where there from or how long their family has lived here we are all aussies we should only have one flag the aussie flag is for all aussies the aboriginal flag is based on race
Keep crying about it fragile
So pleased that Peter Dutton has the guts to make this stand. We are Australians under ONE flag.
You must be very fragile then 😂
The Aboriginal flag is not a true flag, it was purchased by the Government. We are Australia and we have a single flag.
History tells the world that if you fly more than one flag, you create civil war. Your nation is automatically divided. Why recognise one above another it was why in 1901, parliament, they rejected lord's, earl's, and dukes as Australian titles. Check hansard
How simple minded can you get 😂
Love it Australia 🇦🇺 😍
I was waiting for Albo to stand in front of the Chinese flag and the Palestinian Flag THE FIVE FLAG PM ??
Grow up
Someone's having a breakdown 😂
Certainly won't include the Israeli flag, that's for sure!
I agree
Not at all, Australia has ONE National Flag, not the cluster that the Incompetent Mr Magoo insists on.

Let's have one flag
Albo is the only one devicive here
We have one national flag, and two racist flags.
I unequivocally agree with Peter Dutton, Way to go 🇦🇺👍
You must be very fragile then 😂
The majority of Australians agree with Dutton
Dutton is 100% correct. It’s just common sense. Name one country that is confused about its own identity and uses more than one flag. It is a fact that Australia is currently the only country in the world using 3 flags. It’s not only embarrassing but it shows weakness and creates further segregation.
This alone wins Dutton my vote
One nation, one people, one flag. We are all Australians! Dutton is fast becoming the only option as leader of our great country as he is calling out the WOKE Albo goverment on these type of issues. ALBO is not a leader that makes the decisive decisions he has given in to the Woke brigade. Dutton will be our next PM.
You need to realize that Albo/ Dutton both support Censorship and the WEF agenda. ONE NATION is the only party that can truly pull the resources together to oppose the ''UniParty".
You have Atomic energy ,Mate, Ifthis is Dutton's master stroke God help us
Aboriginal people have never had a flag. Why start now.
Good step forward , now about free speech , and deregulation.
Absolutely agree 1 Australia under 1 flag
Funny how Dutton says the aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander flags stoke devision, whilst having a Union Jack on the corner of the national flag is just fine. God Australian politics is a joke. I guess this will win Dutton the critical Tradie and suburban fattie votes.
Albos a dud. We are the only nation in the world with multiple flags. It’s a disgrace.
One National Flag, One Country , We are All One , We are Australia 🇦🇺… ❤️🇦🇺
I don't like Dutton but I have to agree with him...one flag one nation!
But keep in mind Dutton is a WEF plant as well. Why you think he aligned with the ALP to sign this under 16 bill?
I'd rather chant Aussie Aussie than seeing this unecessary "welcome to country" bullshit
💯! Well said.
@@YaIngaYaYa Thanks mate, I love my country but hate the government that's here to destroy it.
The only divisive person is Airbus Albo! His failed Voice to Parliament campaign was disgusting.
Australians voted NO !!!!!! ONE FLAG ONE NATION !!!!!!
Finally a leader who stands for something. Voting libs 100%%%%%
No it’s not divisive it’s right we are all Australians!!!🇦🇺
Let me see if I have got this right:
Bringing everyone together under one National flag is divisive. But separating people under three different flags is somehow uniting.
These people are nuts.
Do people understand "Flag etiquette and ceremony"? If/When you fly 3 flags, the country in which you stand should have their national flag, (for us the Australian National Flag (ANF).) flying in the center of the 3.
Now that you know this, you will see how much disrespect Albo has for our nation, our heritage, and our traditions. Not to mention the people! Wake up Australia, Albo does not work for us! (Nor does Peter Dutton).
We need a flag that represents all Australians and the Current flag does not do that. There is a British Union Jack in the Corner but no reference to any other people in our Country. We have a diverse country and mentioning them all would be impossible so Remove the Union Jack and make a Flag that doesnt mention any specific People but can represent ALL Australians
The Union Jack is on our great flag because the British contributed the most to this great nation. Im an Aussie of Italian decent and I understand this. Why can’t you ?
@ Im sick of having the flag of our colonisers in our flag. I want an Australian Flag that represents Australia
One Flag One Idiot of a PM
One flag,one country.
all nations only have 1 flag , why should we be different ?
No they don't 😂 how uneducated can you get!
One flag.....the original one ONLY!
The one that represents subserviance to Britain ,God save the King
Let the aboriginal fly their own flag in their own community, not on the national stage.
How is standing under one flag being divisive? Divisive is separating us according to race just like the voice intended to do and put us under numerous flags. Well done Dutton for having g the balls to do what needs to be done, unlike a weak Albo he has balls to make a decision!
one country one flag one people!
About time. Great decision
I HATE ALBOS GUTS AND WON'T BE VOTING FOR THE LABOUR PARTY NEXT ELECTION AND I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS!!!

One flag one nation. Its a wonder he doesnt have an Islam flag behind him. Why does he hate Australia so much ?
Those manufactured flags are unnecessary okay for personal ceremonies but our official flag was globally honoured at Olympics
ONE FLAG
dude u have no balls to say the truth, we only have 1 flag thats it
We should have 197 Flags. 1 for each country of the world + 2 for Australia's Indigenous people.
But we should have a series of votes for one of say 50 flags. then another round for the remaining 10, then another round for the remaining 3 flags.
Union Jack on Australian flag does not represent all Australia it represent a British colonisation we need to flag that represent all Australia. Maybe we can remove of the Union Jack yes that’s controversial but if you use argument that one flag represent all we should remove the union Jack on the Australian flag to represent to help represent whole of Australia population because we have a variety of backgrounds in Australia for example Italy Greek largest Greek population outside of Greece is in Melbourne turkey Lebanon France, Spain, Portugal and so forth if we’re really gonna use one flag represent all we should not have a Union Jack on our flag. We should have a flight that represent the indigenous the traditional owners of the land and a whole community that move here to Australia.
The Union Jack acknowledges the special contribution the English, Welsh & Scots made to the foundation of our great country.
Said it all along 🙌 👏 one flag one nation 😊🎉
If he doesn't want to stand and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags, then change Australia's flag to reflect them.
Simple.
Spot on -The current flag represents British colonial rule, BTW, The British flag, that we have to have ,unfortunately on our flag ,is a Union of 3 countries, Why cant an artist ,unite our 3 flags ,and put the result to a national vote Time to grow up and move forward
@ correct Paul. It’s time for Australia to grow up. We are our own man and women, proud and strong.
Dutton is showing once again how divisive he is. Australia is first and foremost Aboriginal land and should be acknowledged first and foremost. The British empire occupied Australia by force, that is a crime every day of the week. All good Australians will want to recognise our Aboriginal people and their culture., it is the right thing to do. It is plain to see that Dutton is trying to score political points with a election coming up. He shows us on a regular basis, just how low he will go. His kind have come and gone and like Dutton, they just leave a big stain on our society. Dutton is not fit to be our PM .
How many Flags are in the Untied Nations..???
One nation one flag.
Its inherently inclusive. One country, one Nation. We are not a collection of 'tribes' but a single modern western NATION STATE! Good on you Peter Dutton. ps. We are not 'frozen'.... we are scared of being cancelled - and that is very, very wrong!
I agree with Dutton
You must be very fragile then 😂
Australia is now a very sad place. I regret staying in this Country.
Don't think the pm playing a game of tennis can be compared to scomo holidaying secretly during a crisis??
sco-mo wasnt holidaying secretly at all. Bush fires happen evey year in australa.
The problem is that there was growing anti- Jewish sentiments that him and his party had been subversely stoking over a period of time that led to a terrorist attack that he then disappeared on this community. I think scomo and albo are both losers but albos really scomo moment was when he slipped out on Alice Springs to go and watch the tennis instead.
It's a distraction from his immigration stuffup and not having any costed policy.
That would be enough to put them in Office .. Australians are tired an fed-up with three flags :- Note the Aboriginal flag in the middle and get rid of the flag on the bridge ,,
Having and displaying multiple flags is divisive!
Having and displaying one flag for one nation is unifying.
As long as Peter Dutton does some Trump style stuff then he’s good by my books
Peter Dutton is a far right politician , the indigenous and the Torres Strait islanders Flag should stay in place, from Qld 🦘
We need a new flag remember England kicked us out of England so why do we need a union jack in our flag why don't we make a flag based on our coat of arms our native lands and animals i think we can make a new real Australian flag
Just create a new flag that incorporates all meanings on the current three flags if you really want to unite people through a flag.
