Beginner fire fan tutorial, Open grip forward weave

This tends to be the most difficult weave for students to grasp. And the biggest issue they have is....
-LOCKING THEIR WRISTS!
See a pattern yet? When it comes to weaves, reels, fountains and any other "flowy" move, it's all in the wrist movement. If you're trying to use your arms and shoulders to make it look correct, you will end up hurting yourself.

To correctly perform the weave.
- make a chicken wing with your arm.
- get the fan as close to your body as possible.
- let the momentum move the fan down your body.
- twist the fan up behind you ( this is another big problem students have.) .
