I've had my original Bearcat since 2018 and love the airplane despite its weak L/G. Dave Brown low bounce tires help quite a bit. When I rebuilt the original bearcat, I applied Flite Metal over the top of the wing panel where the gear attaches to help strengthen it, then just painted over it. Both of mine have 85A Mantis ESC's, one running a 650kv with the FMS 1400mm Corsair prop and the other has a 760kv turning the original prop. Massive power.
I have this plane and it flies great. Flight times are very good. There are two issues I have with this plane. First, the color can make it very difficult to see. I painted some stripes on the bottom and that helped a bit. Second, is the landing gear are not very strong when landing on grass. The small wheels, forward rake, and lack of suspension create a weak point and the gear (and/or wing) will break if your runway is not perfectly smooth. I actually had one gear break while taxing from the runway after a smooth landing. If this plane has some suspension I suspect that would help.
Total unrelated to video! I hope you guys" freewing" are plaining on doing some upgrades or something than bringing back the 90MM f-16 I literally was about to order 1 when they went out of stock and been waiting for them to come back in stock to get 1.and now motionrc site says there discontinued. I had the 70mm f16 but my club has a grass field and was hoping to get the 90 because it would handle my field better.
One of the most enjoyable planes to fly. The finest Navy warbird

This is indeed one plane to have! would love to see it in a 1600mm or 1700mm version
Maiden mine today. Flew it on a spectrum 3200 all the way forward. Flew fantastic. I just need to add a little elevator flap mix.
Great looking plane and you fly it so well.Great job on the camera work, nice video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Getting better at landing my 1100mm T28, this is on my wishlist.
Well done ! Nice video!
Thanks for the visit

Ok. Can you attach gunpods under the wing like the real deal?
What size battery did you use and did you have to add nose weight?
3000 4s and no weight was needed with it all the way forward in the battery bay.

If it was me personally I’d choose the mustang or spitfire if it was a warbird
I’d be to afraid of breaking prop.
