The perfomance belal showed against edward showed to me that he has the potential to reach khabib's level, but he is 36 years old, there may not be enough time left for him to reach that level espcially when him and khabib only train a fews weeks per year..

Belal was impressive and his takedowns looked great but it’s what Khabib did with the takedowns that separated him from anyone else. The control, the pressure, the transitions, the submissions and most importantly the GnP was just unmatched.

Regardless of what people say about him, I think he conducts himself with dignity. I also respect Belal and what he is fighting for. What I don’t like is that he is creating beef with Leon unnecessarily IMO. I don’t think Belal is at the level of Khabib or Islam, while I do believe Islam moving up would be a big problem for Leon. As much as I like both fighters I think Leon will prove too skilful for Belal, but I do think Belal will give a good account of himself. Championship round stoppage or decision for Leon.
