    In this video I talk about the full MOSFET 3-terminal (and 4-terminal structure), and explain why the source and drain terminals are named what they are. I use the MOSFET-as-a-switch model to explain when we might want to use an MOS structure.
    This is part of my series on semiconductor physics (often called Electronics 1 at university). This is based on the book Semiconductor Physics and Devices by Donald Neamen, as well as the EECS 170A/174 courses taught at UC Irvine.
