I’m enjoying my brand new Kegco and Kombucha on Tap set up at home. What’s the process for removing the Sankey Coupler from the SS keg so that I can shake it? Is it just the reverse of the video or do I need to turn of the nitrogen or something else?

Hi Rick, We're happy to read you're enjoying your home draft setup. You are correct on the removal process. It is the reverse of the install. If you're looking to shake the Cold Brew keg to get the creamy pour a little stronger you do not need to remove the coupler or change the gas on/off. Just pick up the keg at top and bottom, and give it a few vigorous shakes. Be aware not to pull the gas line taught. Thank you for your questions and keep enjoying the delicious beverages at the pull of the tap handle.

Hi there, Thank you for your message. Our videos are broken down into individual draft tasks and cater to our customers desired content. I'm happy to help you though. When you're changing a keg with a sankey valve you do not need to turn off the gas at the cylinder or the regulator switch. The standard Sankey coupler in the disengaged, handle up, position stops the flow of gas. Once you engage the coupler on the keg the gas will start flowing again. I hope this is helpful for you and maybe saves you a step on your next keg change.
