@missy67, where at in Virginia? I've been to Virginia twice, Norfolk and Suffolk. The beach is very pretty. The food there is yummy and the zoo is just gorgeous with beautiful animals. The Hilton Garden Inn in Suffolk is a nice hotel and the indoor pool feels lovely after a hot day at the beach and the hot tub beside the pool was nice as well. I loved going on the bay bridge tunnels, so huge but too bad you can't change lanes on the bridge or in the tunnels though 😢.
@@shainahullihen1159 I read it's going to be in New Kent, Virginia, just outside of Richmond . Looks like it's going to be on the way to Williamsburg/Norfolk/Virginia Beach area.
Went to a Buc-ee's last November.....mind blown. Now they just have to replace the all the service stations on NJ Turnpike with Buc-ee's and the world would be a better place.
I'm in Texas so Buc-ee's isn't new for me. Get you some Beaver Nuggets and salted peanuts. Put them both in ya mouth and eat them together then follow up with a bite of cherry smoked jerky... you're welcome.
The first one I used to go to many years ago was very small and it was in Gonzales, and Luling has had a Buc-ee's for years on end already and between that one and the one in New Braunfels are the ones I usually frequent. Luling, Gonzales, New Braunfels, Bastrop, Baytown, and Temple are the ones I've been to.
Worked there for a year and loved it. Waller, Texas
Why did you stop? Did they start treating employees like crap? Horror stories about not being allowed to sit down for one second, with barely a lunch or toilet break.
I use to live in Luling, Tx! Awesome to see one going there. We need one in the PNW!
Teaching in the US is such a bad career that that lady left it to work at a gas station.
Texas culture is where it’s at. We Texans strive that anything bigger is better.
Even a cockroach or Brown Recluse? they are big in Texas...
The bigger they’re the harder they fall.
@@gilberttorres8wtf does that have to do with food and land mass?
@@tyreek.6815the arrogance ….can you tell?
Just went to Buc-ee’s for the first time today while on my way to FL. It is the best!
I always find an excuse to stop at a Buc-ee's. Most of the time it's just to buy a drink for the kids. My wife gets annoyed with me because I park at the entrance furthest from the drink section so I can just walk through the whole place.
After moving to San Antonio,Tx in 2005, I would visit the Buc-ee's in Bastrop, Tx while driving back home to College Station,Tx and also visiting the Buc-ee's in Luling,Tx while visiting family in Houston.
Watching Buc-ee's grow from a Texas icon to a country icon is crazy, but it will always be a Texas thing.
When I was in the military, I cross trained as an NCO to a different job and went back to school for a few months. I lived in a hotel on base where we weren’t allowed to use MRE heaters or hot plates due to fire risk. We also weren’t allowed to eat at the chow hall because of fraternization with the lower ranking individuals, so our only option was Sonic or Bucees for almost 6 months. Meals were $10-$15 each and a missed meal voucher was only $3 a meal. I got tired of Sonic after a week, but after hundreds of brisket sandwich’s I still love bucees.
There is NO other that even comes close to Buc-ee’s. They are the best!
Loves and pilot do 😂😂😂
Love that place! Stopped in two in Georgia on way to Florida! They are nice, clean and soooooooo much to choose from. Best beef brisket sandwich ever! We are getting one in Colorado just north of Denver on I-25, just 30 mins from my house and we can't wait for it to open next year!
Buccees treats their workers with respect and pays them enough to
Live on. That’s why their employees are in a good mood.
Buc-cee's pretty much has nothing I need, but everything I want.
We were supposed to get the biggest one where I live. Then it was cancelled. But I finally got to go in Georgia on our way home from Tennessee. It was so amazing. The beaver chips are delicious, the atmosphere is awesome, the sodas are amazing, and the beavers nuggets?! ADDICTIVE.
It actually won't hold the title of the largest Buc-ee's in the world. There's going to be a Buc-ee's built in their homestate of Texas that will take on that name. But it's pretty cool that my homestate of Tennessee will have four Buc-ee's location. There's already two in East Tennessee (Crossville and Sevierville) and soon to be two in Middle Tennessee (Murfreesboro and Clarksville).
Buccees is literally the best gas station ever. The cinnamon rolls are huge for only $1. Everything is amazing and they have everything you need
Oh, and how about the way they treat their employees? Especially the young kids. That’s something to consider.
We need a Buck-ee’s up here in the north east.
The fuss is all about the clean restrooms. They were the first to offer a super clean restroom and the restrooms are always huge
Every time I pull into one of these, I think of the giant Buy-n-Large stores in the movie “WALL-E.” 😂
I love Buc-ee's. I've been to all the ones in Texas. I've also been to some in Tennessee and Alabama. I hope they open one in Minnesota.
Buc-ee's is awesome! I wish they would come to CA
It would be nice but we have way too many wannabe cholos here that’ll mess it up.
No wonder she left teaching in Arizona, we are the worst state for pay, test scores, behavior, and respect. Go get em girl!
Other bigger gas station chains should take note of how Buc-ee's does things and so should fast foor restaurants.
Reporter: "am i hired?"
Gas station manager: "Yeah you start at $7.15 6 days a week."
So amazing to see high end American culture.
From a second class citizen, you don’t need much to have fun in these
So what country you from?
🥇🇺🇸
It really comes down to clean facilities, branded food items & apparel, and above average food & customer service for a gas station.
Wow!! I have been to a Buc-ee's and the food is fabulous. I one time got some BBQ brisket and i got 2 bites in before my wife stole my sandwich and finished it!
Went to the one in Ga and it CHANGED MY LIFE. If you see the sign, PULL OVER!
For my friends that have never been to Disney world , Buc-ee’s is the second best option
Lol
The largest and "hands down" THE BEST!! ❤
Go Buc-ee's!
Visited Buc-ee's in Ennis Tx during our road trip to Houston! The bathrooms were so clean and the brisket sandwich was bussin!! It was a nice experience and picked up lots of souvenirs there
I hope they start opening stores further north!!!😜👍
I’d love a Bucees in Michigan
There is one going up in DeForest Wisconsin in the next few years. Don't worry, they are coming.
@@Matts_Presentations fabulous thanks
Lowkey jealous that my Buc-ees is no longer the biggest one. Everything was suppose to be bigger in Texas but glad it everyone can experience it.
If they're smart, they'll have electrical charging spots too. Both vehicle types are going to be common for the foreseeable future.
They do. Saw it in my local news app. No idea how many.
@@tamlynhart They have 24 Tesla chargers.
As a lifelong Texan, I can say this is a Bitter Sweet moment.
Some people get excited by the dumbest sh**
Like your posts..for instance.
You are salivating now, c’mon admit it..
I live 12 minutes away from Buc EES and I'm happy
I like going to gas stations where the staff aren’t screaming and shouting all the time
Well, just last month, Buc-ee's bought 71 acres in the greater Phoenix area! It will be 75,400 square feet, and will also have 120 gas pumps!
Don't say America does not have culture.
I make sure i visit one every time I’m in Texas. Waiting on one to open in Virginia
Everyone from texas having a heart attack knowing this gas station is in another state
Besides Chik-fil-a's customer service, Buc-ee's runs a close second. Plus you can make so much money working at Buc-ee's, it's just great.
This looks straight out of king of the Hill
What’s wrong with that?
@@alabastersmidge4692 absolutely nothing 😂
Just wait until we have propane cars
Bucees is amazing! Ive been there 3 times! And that is never enough! The sandwiches alone will leave you coming back for more!
