Exactly, why does the US insist it's Mexico's fault they have an addiction problem? That's like an alcoholic blaming the liquor store for his addiction. Get rid of the demand and supply will dwindle. Lost in all this is the fact Mexico is racked with violence because our dollars and weapons go into the cartel's hands, making them more powerful. Not 10000 new personal. I'm surprised Trump didn't get more or actually follow through. Canada by stating their own tariffs focused on Republican states and that this was a trade war either made Trump realize or he was told the extent of economic damage that was about to occur. The reality is Trump did back down as he said the tariffs were going to happen 100%. That Trump supporters think this is a major win is by far the best outcome for Canada as it gives Trump a victory with no damage to the Canadian economy. Canada came out on top here because the U.S. has a bigger issue with drugs and guns coming in. With this deal-originally proposed last December-there will be no more firearms entering Canada from the U.S. Canada took this step in response to the problems caused by what flows in from America.
Now he’s talking about a bad trade deal, but let’s not forget-it was him who made the bad deal back in 2018. And to top it off, he ended up calling Canada twice-once when the market started plummeting and again when he realized he had to.

Hey I'm from Canada and hate to burst your bubble on Canada approach to the tariffs. Just putting out the corruption on both sides. Nothing that trudeau has brought up isn't into law because he has purposely shut down our government so he doesn't lose pwr. He was forced to resign as prime Minister because his party has kicked him out. He stopped our federal government just after christmasuntil March 24th knowing full well that trump was going to impose tariffs so his party can vote in a new leader. Imagine if the dems or Republicans shut down your government so they can have primaries. Trudeau doesn't have authority to spend that 1.3 billion$ because it was still in the discussion phase and wasnt voted on. Anything that has to do with money has to have a vote of confidence. His liberal government wasn't going to survive a vote of confidence so he shut it down inst3ad. Because he shut the government down he doesn't have approval for everything else that he said he will do. He needs the government to be in session again to get a confidence vote in order to pass any laws and he has been ruining Canada for the last 9 yrs and he was about to lose pwr so he will not survive another vote. His party and the r3st of the government doesn't trust him and neither do we. He has purposely goaded trump so that he can stay in pwr for longer.

@jaredleicht1656 Trump is an impressionist con artist and you're impressionable. Drug trafficking crack downs are assigned to border patrol and that is literally a job duty of theirs. Tariffs are just limiting necessary resources for law enforcement to seek and crack down on drug traffickers. 😅

No, they're not. I live on the border and there have been Mexican troops on the border with Texas for a some years now.
