CARMEN MIRANDA - I WANT MY MAMMA/MAMÃE EU QUERO One can hear Caramin Miranda's Brazilian song of the same tune in this link. Both songs are very good.

In the Indian context, this tune was first used in Gemini's Mangamma Sapatham (1943) for a song sung by Vasundhara Devi (actress Vyjayantimala's mother). Then it featured in this song. Next it was again heard in a Gemini film - Mangla, which was a remake of Mangamma Sapatham (this film was made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu)

Here is the song by Bhanumathi from Mangla (1950 - Hindi). She sang this in Telugu and Tamil too.

Krishnajyothi is correct Priyansh . Vasundhara Devi & Bhanumati song is inspired by another Carmen Miranda song , not this...
