    I can't thank coach Zac enough! I'm 34 and playing the best hockey of my life! I started organized at 15 so I'm self taught. I got promoted to a better team and my last 4 game I have 7G 4A and +7. I always hear Zac voice in my head while playing and I play way smarter!

    As a winger on the boards, taking that peek up at the blueline to look off that defenseman is key. Psychologically, when they are aware that *you* are aware of where they are ... they are more prone to back off rather than be aggressive.

    Feet positioning, 3 hard strides & shield on coming defender.
    Simple, effective!

    That's a cool idea with the puck hitting your foot and kicking it up to the stick. Don't think I'm skilled enough for that to work haha but I'm going to try it

    • @deckednhl8051
      @deckednhl8051 8 лет назад

      Alexander Milentis as a squirt it helps because 95% of the D's don't even know where the puck is when you do that

    What about when the puck is loose along the boards in the breakout, and the winger has to go get it? Do you have any tips for that? Also do you have anything on the breakout on the 247 hockey program?

    • @CoachZac
      @CoachZac  9 лет назад

      Italian Pride we are adding more stuff to the 247 Hockey program for wings. When the puck is loose on the boards it's like any other loose puck. It's all about winning the battle.

    Also, will the body positioning tip make the winger more vulnerable to blind side hits?

    • @CoachZac
      @CoachZac  9 лет назад +2

      Italian Pride this tip will help you AVOID the blindside because you are also looking up ice vs. just keeping your back to the defenders and starting at the puck.
