Honestly these nextbots are so much better. Scary isn't being able to move so fast that it practically teleports. These on the other hand are very well done and make for exciting content
We need a nextbot the chases you so slowly that it practically is walking. It will eventually disappear, and you won’t know where it is. Eventually, it will random appear in front of you. Then the chase happens...

I'm glad more nexbots are coming out that have actual mechanics and personality. Not just "run you down until I finally catch up to you"
Well actually, that’s not the case. People use a command that can make the next bots stop and go whenever they want. Still, it’s fun to imagine their personality, or what it would be if they had one. Unless I’m late to the advancements in Gmod, because I haven’t really gotten caught up in all the mechanics
@@st4rboy014 There's one recent nextbot in particular, Terminus, that's programmed to stalk you, ambush you, then enter a rage state where it chases you down relentlessly if you escape it enough times. These are the kinds of advancements I hope to see more of in the future, since it adds a lot more variety to the roster of spooky silly PNGs

Between this, Terminus, and Gargitron, there's something that I both appreciate and fear about a smart Nextbot.
I find them more threatening and intimidating, rather than a super fast nextbot.

Starting to love how the community has started to pick up the “make nextbots that can actually do stuff” instead of “make nextbots that just chase you till I catch you” formula,makes it more fun and scary if you ask me.

Idea for NextBot:
Loner, the Introvert NextBot. This is the Only NextBot that has a backside. You can sneak up behind it without making a sound, but if you make a sound, it will turn to face the sound. If you make eye contact with it, it will begin to chase you, but very slowly. If you run away from it long enough or you go far away enough, it will return to the spot it teleported to when you spawned it. Loner actually goes faster the more entities their are in a game, including other NextBots & Players. If the Number of Players and/or NextBots Loner sees is more then 10, then it will go into a Panic Insane mode, where it goes insanely fast. Loner can and will Kill Players but it can also kill NextBots too. Loner is the only NextBot that can Kill other NextBots. When loner makes contact with a NextBot, it will proceed to destroy that NextBot in a glitchy explosion. Remember, Loner only chases the things it sees, and it’s attention goes to any sources of sound.
Sorry for telling you this late but to be honest to avoid dying from this nextbot you have to look or stare at them or when you’re a far location from them you have to look around because they will catch up soon and if you are probably reading this- then I hope you understand

Stalking mechanics:they will find a solid spot makes undetectable called stalk mode ambush mode is same thing but player bypass making it start hunting if player found their spot it will give up its ambush mode and back to stalking mode with great agility and speed the alone is pretty good addition making the Bot catch you by suprise
Chase mechanic:
Had 2 type ,"regular chase" and "Toying chase"
(-deliberately slows it's own speed to extend the length of the chase for its own entertainment)
If you pretty nimble and escape the Bot well it will get angry , if you manage to escape them 3 times then it will come a mode called "ENRAGED" Out a piercing howl and gaining breakneck speed , it'll take corner as much sharper accelerate much faster and move a lot quicker than normal if you manage to escape it in this phase however the Bot will grow tired entering a state of reduced speed to allow some distance from it while it recovers
