Yes, it would, I grew up working with my Dad on Cars and Trucks and Farm stuff, it made me a better boy, the young man, and then a hard-working no trouble making Adult and Father and now Grandfather I turned out to be.
Ralphie looks so much like you. I'm glad to see 👀 Ralphie helping you with these cars, and it's great to see Rocky and the puppies and all the other critters. Thanks for all you do. God bless you 🐐🐑😺🐶
As I've mentioned before I really enjoy your videos. Funny part is that when you pan over to the puppies and they are doing their puppy squeaks, the maternal instinct comes out out in my cat and she comes running to check it out
Yay!! We get to see Rocky again!! Your series of stories on Sleeperdude2 is amazing!! Bravo to you!! Congratulations on the growing subscribers!! You deserve it.
Love how much you let your son do, it will build lifelong happy memories for him. The best memories of my life were car restorations with my mother in my childhood. Thanks for another great video!
Very good content - I see Rocky listens to Momma - But then again, Moms know how to get their point across with only a look and the tone of their voice - Love our Moms.
Just wanted to say i really appreciate the effort you and the family put in the videos to entertain us. It brightens my day when you guys put out a video. Thanks very much.
Mitch Moles would be proud of your use of the 2x4 when straightening out that cross brace. I'm proud of you admitting that the fender liner probably won't be re-installed.
Now see you describing all those parts, what they do,how they work, the specifications, the modifications etc etc made my head hurt 🤕 ... The knowledge you exhibit in this video if placed in the wrong hands could potentially be dangerous lol ... Another thing that blew my mind was that Rocky understood being told NO 😱😅 You and your family are very fortunate to have one another 👍🏾 Which in turn has made us viewers fortunate also 💯 Thank you all for sharing a portion of your lives and experiences with us! 👏🏾👏🏾🤝🏽
I'm blown away with how much power these turbos put out these days. When I was a kid we had the Shelby GLH, Mustang SVO, Grand National, Turbo coupe etc... They all ran 13-16 1/4 mile et's, now they have 7 second street cars. No wonder time seems to be going by so fast.
Your goat Rocky is just like our Chorkie named Rocky! Rambunctious and in to everything!!! Gotta love our fur babies no matter what type animal they are! Good stuff on the SC!
Thanks for the video I'm a ford man I an happy to see this build all the way to the end👍 I am happy to see Dad and Sun working together on all the car's and trucks 😀
Hi from uk guys👋 nice to see rocky getting back involved he bin slacking lately and all pups coming on nicely too (cant wait till full hands get fuller 😉) it'll be insane haha and nice to hear ralphys education paying off I fell over at "" you know what a water pump does yeah pumps water lol"" its like wont be long before he building his own bits and giving you a good run for money 👍👍 sorry am late just caught up to you guys! Al watch you then nearly time for zZZ's for me but you guys first al sleep better lol great stuff guys keep it up Ralphy good lad and nice to see mail women popped too to help new things always great to have 👍👍
I sure enjoyed watching this video while wearing my Flip Flops and May Pops shirt. You blow me away with how smart you are building these cars. It’s amazing to watch.
I am original owners of a 1987 27,000 mile Buick Grand National and a 1993 Blk/Blk Ford Super Coupe with 69,000 miles Love my 2 Darth Vaders, both are a blast to drive, Both have some After market bolts ons, both are quick, and both get lots of compliment, good luck on your super Coupe!!
Awesome video.. I used to love working on vehicles in my younger days and lately after watching you and Derek from vice grip garage.. you guys have motivated me to get off my butt and start tinkering again 😉... Can't wait to see how that turbo turns out you make it look easy.. give Rocky and pebbles big hugs for all of us up here in Maine 🦐🦀🦐🦀🦐
It has been a pleasure to watch your Tbird series. I used to own a 1990 coupe and by boss at the time had 1993 Supercoupe manual. Those were cool cars!
Never a dull moment! You really keep it interesting thinking and working out problems. I think it is great how you work with Ralphie, and the shots of the pups are great too!
Now you see why LS Swaps are so popular, they fit and make tons of power, the engineering on these cars is brutal, good work, it’ll be neat to see how it works
Hope you can get the T-Bird going. Not sure how you can keep things together with Rocky wanting to eat everything. But, sure you have got used to it. The shots of the puppies are so cute. Can’t wait to see this project completed. So, you can start on Ralphie and mom’s truck. Blessings! Thank you for sharing!
that goat is a hoot! Just found your channel, thanks for the entertainment and the mechanical knowledge you are passing along. That engine is amazingly clean inside....kind of odd. Would have never guessed it from the look of the outside.
Hey buddy how's it going. I was a good video watching you tear down the Coupe. Ralphie was sure enough doing his share of work. It look like it took a long time to tear it down. No need to apologize buddy for taking so long. I rather for you to take your time and get it right. You had me laughing in the video at 31:10 ( why are we walking around in poop in our flip flops ) sleepersdude you know that what you & me do. We walk around doing crazy things in our flip flops. Good video buddy. Can't wait to see you get it running.
Great video, informative, interesting and great content and editing . . . Well done team Sleeper dude . . . Sup' Rockey and Pebbles . . . It would have been cool to have named pebbles Mom . . . " Gravel Getty ". LOL. 👍
Good Afternoon SLEEPERDUDE, Just watched your Incredible video. You are an EXCELLENT Videographer and Super Mechanic Engineer. You are also a Great Father to Your Wonderful Family. What a Fabulous Mother Tosh is running the Whole show. It is a Pleasure to watch your Excellent videos of your Projects and Family Life. A True Inspiration to Admire Sir. Jonathan.
I love how Rocky made it before Ralpie in the video title. Always good to get working on a project that’s been sitting for months. When it fires up and runs it’s worth all the pain.
Sleep the 3.8 litre is in really good shape inside. Its clean and good. Its definitely been looked after. Mine blew a head gasket on left bank of the engine. I ended up changing out both of them. When it happened.
Those "hart shaped" heads are also called "swirl port." The idea is the piston pushes the mixture close to the head causing it to swirl. That provides cleaner more complete combustion. I build a quench engine years ago using some of those (Mopar 1967 440 heads.) The pistons looked dished, so you may not get a swirl. Obviously it will run, but you will lose some ponies. The turbo will add ponies so depending on your boost, you may be ahead. Pistons with the right geometry would make it run cleaner and allow for more advance but less boost. Even with less boost probably more power.
Would love to see a Volre' on the channel. A built 225, maybe with a blower? I love the fact you bring the whole family into the projects. I'm teaching my girls to wrench.
We actually had a Volare on the channel years ago 1978 slant six wagon but I never did any performance mods to it that’s good that you’re teaching them how to mechanic
On the 4.6 T-bird, there is space to fit two M12 50/63 turbos under the rear seat. one m12 dynos at 185-245hp... boost check, 5000rpm throttle open and shut the key off, pressure should go up as the engine slows down even with zero exhaust pressure... sometimes need to use exhaust clamps and exhaust springs on the intercooler pipe, those silicon's make a loud thud when they slip off. can fit a 2 inch inter cooler pipe under the driver side manifold without pulling the engine, small hands to hold things in place would help but the scrapes and bumps have there own. bit of a hassle to put a gas tank in the trunk.

Great of you to teach your son, he will be a great mech: in the future! BUT he needs to learn lots of computer skills, and electric car stuff. BUT is not all bad! Chao

Prozac must work cause having a goat in my tools and tipping parts over would drive me nuts. I most likely just got too damn old to be of good help to anyone Josh. I don't see how you get your hands into the tight spots to get the bolts out of that engine and then putting them back will be worse as your depending on memory for all the bolts to get back in. That ain't no one old rocker arm and some tappets going each head so how are you doing it. I kinda think you have worked on this engine somewhere before.... best of luck
Rocky was at his usual causing chaos lol! Cant wait for you to have at that fairmont,my parents had a junk one w the straight 6 in it,my dad hated that car,he said it needed a 302 for it to get out of its own way lol
I love everything about this build. It's making me really miss my old Thunderbirds. I never had the SC, but my Davey Allison T-Bird was a very fun car. Also, it's really cool that your son is so interested in watching and being included on the build. I would have included my daughter as much as I could if I had a garage and worked on cars as well.
