My dad also cured my ADD. He always said, "You're going to learn to behave by one end or the other." I frequently made the wrong choice. But in time I did learn to behave and now, at almost 70, I can look back and say I had a good life.
I love the stories about cars. I can relate to this. My very first New car was when I turned 55. I'm not sure what the others were called. Not even sure if they were even cars! They were so run down. But they got me to work.
I've had ADD for over thirty years, and while I'm not the best at picking up social cues and sometimes lack awareness of my surroundings, I am able to buckle down and get work done when the situation calls for it. I also recall my parents telling me of how a doctor who tested me when I was in preschool informed them that I probably wouldn't be very successful in life, and I like to think that I proved her wrong to some extent.
I like the Dad that his son wanted a fancy car when he turned 16....his Dad told him he could walk.....it was good enough for Jesus and it was good enough for him😂😂😂😂
My nephew is 46 When he played everyone got a soda win or lose I'm 66 we only got a soda if we won and forget trophies Only first and second got trophies Today you get a trophy for not even showing up

This is called masking. We shouldn't be asking "what's wrong with you" that's the problem in society. Because there isn't anything "wrong" with them. They are just misunderstood.
Nah it's only 3-5 percent of people. On the other hand, I am with the guy. My dad had high expectations and basically forced me to come up with coping mechanisms for it. It worked for a long while until I got to mid 30s and life got too complex and those mechanism could no longer mask it.
ADD is no longer used. It's all called ADHD and there are three types. There is more to ADHD than just not bring able to stay still. What Sinbad is saying about his dad is funny because I lived that coming up with my parent. There are many adults bring diagnosed and suffering from it for many reasons. People fail to realize that this Is a brain issue. If messages don't transmit properly things will go wrong.
Sinbad is one of the greats! He deserves credit for working clean and just laying waste to audiences around the world!
I could watch Sinbad All day! 😂 He's so talented!
Always a fan of Sinbad. Always making the truth funny. We made out okay and have some funny memories of what life was like.
Sinbad educates and is one of a kind funny 😆
Got my first car in 1994 at 17. It was a 1979 Chevette. I was happy as hell not to have to walk the 3 miles from school to work anymore. 😀
And now I’m guessing that you have a really nice car… and you jog 3 miles a day to stay in shape… it’s all relative…😊
My dad also cured my ADD. He always said, "You're going to learn to behave by one end or the other." I frequently made the wrong choice. But in time I did learn to behave and now, at almost 70, I can look back and say I had a good life.
