I must admit the new vocalist isn't bad but I miss Caligula he just had a presence to him and the band lost that special thing when he left and that drummer fucking kicks ass he's a machine I never saw a drummer play so fast before
And the fact that he just casually adds a powerful as fuck roll over all the toms at 290 bpm like it's no big thing as well... Most other drummers would just do some simple boring alternating pattern to save energy or flop about on the snare a bit when trying to to fills at these speeds.
Here's the problem with Dark Funeral, they're songs are always the same and very bland. It would make a big difference and interesting if their were a solo or a change up in the guitar playing, I get the sound is very black metal, but all the tracks never rotate or change direction. Have the balls to give your fans a good show with a little effort from your guitars Dark Funeral, black metal will never evolve this way.
I don't agree, but I can certainly see why someone would think so. What pulls me in with Dark Funeral is that monotonous and uncompromising song structure.
