Thank you DAVID LANDERS for doing your part to help tame mankind with your gift and talent. You gave us nothing but laughs! Your legacy can not be undone..
You can see the recently deceased Howard Hesseman as one of the judges, here, another talent in comedy. (WKRP's Dr. Johnny Fever) RIP to him and to David Lander.
Still hard to believe the brewery let these guys drive a truck full of beer !! lol 😂 love Laverne and Shirley, but these guys made the show for me !! Long Live Lenny & Sqiggy !!! 🤘✌️
Fun fact: An actual album was released "Lenny & Squiggy Present Lenny and the Squigtones", by the Casablanca record label in 1979. This was the precursor to McKean & Rob Reiner getting the idea for creating Spinal Tap. RIP David. Thanks for the memories. You were a part of my childhood.
L&S was one of my favorite TV show of all time - memories that will last forever. Lenny and Squiggy were so amazing on the show. These memories bring me to tears....
I would so love to watch reruns of Laverne and Shirley. Today's shows just don't measure up to the Comedic flow of yesterday's shows. Woke politicization has destroyed entertainment and I keep looking back to old shows for joys!
The team who wrote these corny songs for several lenny and squiggly bits .. and thought up those crazy lyrics were genius.. night after night was another one...
When Michael McKean told his folks he was gonna be an actor, they said 'great, but you need a backup career". He said 'don't worry, I play the guitar'. 🤣 i love this man!!❤❤❤
These two, the ONLY reason I would ever watch Laverne and Shirley. I always considered their act to be the best part of any episode. They were just so ridiculous and their schemes were as insane as the stuff Lucille Ball was doing in the 50s. Underrated. Long live Lenny and Squiggy.
Yes they were College friends that were always joking around pretending to be Lenny and Anthony which of course became Lenny and Squiggy. They became writers then they were asked to be on the Show. The rest is history.
Lenny & the Squigtones were the funniest part of that otherwise bland sitcom. I'm surprised that these songs didn't end up on Dr Demento, especially since Lenny was one of the driving forces behind Spinal Tap.
Laverne & Shirley was filmed in front of a live audience on the studio grounds. As was Happy Days, Big Bang Theory and many others. They typically hire a comedian to warm up the crowd. They are actual people in the audience.
man, those were the days...RIP David Lander
Rest in peace Squiggy.
Indeed. A True 🐐
Thank you DAVID LANDERS for doing your part to help tame mankind with your gift and talent. You gave us nothing but laughs! Your legacy can not be undone..
True indeed..
Yes, indeed! RIP David 💜
The true 2020 December Song
RIP Squiggy.
My Condolences to David Lander's Family & Rest in Rest Squiggly you not be forgotten
That was really good
These guys were so great together.
Jeez Louise how I love Lenny and the Squigtones ❤️❤️
The best comedian band ever...
These guys are pure geniuses. This skit reminds me of something out of Benny Hill. Very funny song.
I'm so glad I grew up with shows like this. Priceless!
Thanks for all the laughs Squiggy.
Lenny & Squiggy were the greatest
R I p David l Landers u will.be sadly missed
Just hilarious. these guys had such great comic timing and the song lyrics are perfectly suited for the Lenny & Squiggy characters.
I love this its classic!!! Lenny and sqiggy ruled!! Thanks for the laughs.
My favorite Lenny and Squiggy performance.
These two were fn hilarious on that show.... and sad that most of them are gone now too....
Michael McKean was amazing in Better Call Saul but honestly, I’ll always see him as Lenny.
I see him as David St Hubbins from This Is Spinal Tap.
He is an amazing talent. Everything he does is great!
He was the freaky clown in a Star Trek Voyager episode 👍
He played as the ponytail DJ in Airheads. Wanted to secretly change the station to country music.
@@suzettedavidson7062me too Long live David St. Hubbins

RIP David. Thanks for the memories. You were a part of my childhood.
I Had Lenny and the Squigtones on 8 Track.. wore it right out as a kid.. Great Stuff R.I.P. David.
The Rutles had a lot to do with it too.
Nigel Tufnel played rhythm guitar for the Squigtones when they were on American Bandstand.
ruclips.net/video/mS5qlEcttEw/видео.html
Murphy Dunne from the Blues Brothers Band and Christopher Guest were in the Squigtones.
@@BioMess The first pressing of that record is worth lots of money.
That was good!! Merry chistmas everyone!
L&S was one of my favorite TV show of all time - memories that will last forever. Lenny and Squiggy were so amazing on the show. These memories bring me to tears....
Same. I just loved the silliness
Thanks for the laughs Squigman.
This is one of my Christmas traditions. Silent ho ho.
Luv Squig's harmonies!
They were the best, wonderful show and I miss those s times. Great memories growing up.✨👍❤️
I remember this as a kid. I loved it.
I remember this as an adult🎉
They are so good together! Wow.
This was actually a great song!
I know all of the lyrics to this song, because I watched this episode so many times.
I wish they would have gotten their own show. They were hilarious together!
Cheech and Chong weren't bad...
Great Idea.....it would have certainly been a hit show.......
I just cant get enough of this, so beautiful
I would so love to watch reruns of Laverne and Shirley. Today's shows just don't measure up to the Comedic flow of yesterday's shows. Woke politicization has destroyed entertainment and I keep looking back to old shows for joys!
These guys were just great together. It was just so hilarious.🤣
I LOVE THEM....wish they did more songs.
They did an album
Lenny and The Squigtones indeed... REST IN PEACE TODAY DAVID AKA SQUIGGY
Right on Rico! Go Squiggy go..
There sre several more ..and the entire album ...here on yutoob .
I always loved Michael 💜💜💜 Squiggy you were something special 💜💜💜 Together you were Hilarious😂😂😂
Best comedy team ever
Comedy Gold!❤
They made the show, so very funny 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
Thank You for sharing this with us 😂😂
I know this is a funny song. However, for some reason, there is something about it that makes it sad, somber and touching.
These guys were genius
This was great! Thanks so very much for uploading it!
Yes I needed a good laugh.
This is hysterical! Thank you!
That was great
Outstanding. 😂
The team who wrote these corny songs for several lenny and squiggly bits .. and thought up those crazy lyrics were genius.. night after night was another one...
Two nights in a row. Lol
Eventhough Laverne & Shirley were funny this two guys we're better they were the pepper & salt of show.
Very Good!... #116 ✝ {8-15-2023}
Genius!
When Michael McKean told his folks he was gonna be an actor, they said 'great, but you need a backup career". He said 'don't worry, I play the guitar'. 🤣 i love this man!!❤❤❤
RIP squiggly 😢
Lenny and Squiggy were my favorite.
Gold
This show had a usually comedy that was the reason I watched the show
😂😂😂😂😂😂! HILARIOUS!!
Omg! This is hilarious! I can't stop laughing!
They are so funny
This and their “Night After Night” popped up. So needed this today. Thanks Michael and David.
RIP David Landers aka Squiggy
Christmas Eve at the Booby Hatch (aka Oh, Hear the Angel Voices)
Episode Number: 25 Season Num: 2 First Aired: Tuesday December 21, 1976
RIP Squiggy
Anyone see the episode where Lenny and Squiggly were on the Dating Game? One of the funniest moments in TV history
I think Squiggy actually forgot his lines at 0:29 based on his smile when Lenny whispered them to him. LOL
This could be a long-lost demo of an unreleased original Christmas song by the Kinks.
👏🏽🙏🏽❤️
Okay, thanks a lot!
Those old Yamaha FG red label guitars sound great you can't beat them for the money
Wicked fucken awesome!
Lenny was played by the same guy who played David St. Hubbins in Spinal Tap
Remembering David Lander. Missing Squiggy.
I wish this was on Amazon Music.
Why is this not a Christmas anthem?
I'm too young for Laverne and Shirly, but I guess it had its moments.
Why they hired Eddie Mekka and Betty Garrett when they already had these two is beyond me.
They were well beyond an SNL cast member
McKean WAS an SNL cast member. Nice try. 🙄
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yo these where good times they shows
Lavern and sherl 😂.
Did they get along in real life? I wonder...because they are awesome together on screen
Yes they were College friends that were always joking around pretending to be Lenny and Anthony which of course became Lenny and Squiggy. They became writers then they were asked to be on the Show. The rest is history.
Rip they are trying so hard.not to laugh. I love to see the bloopers
Was that Howard Hessemann taking notes?
Remember we can get pretty ugly!!!
Adam Sandler is a genius but he stole these guys whole swag and style. R.I.P. DAVID
#WhenColumbusDiscoveredOhio
How ya figure?
I can see that some.. a little bit of Squiggy style annunciation..
Also the whole Squiggy style may have rubbed off a bit.. I can see it..
I'm surprised Lenny knows the definition of the word "diction".
😁😁
The beginning of Spinal Tap.
god rest your soul david launder ✡️🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is great! Which episode is it from?
I know it's the 2nd season
Watch the "Honey Mooners". From the 50's.
Who wrote this song?
They were better then levern and Shirley all day
Lenny & the Squigtones were the funniest part of that otherwise bland sitcom. I'm surprised that these songs didn't end up on Dr Demento, especially since Lenny was one of the driving forces behind Spinal Tap.
Michael St. Hubbins
Is that Dr. Johnny Fever?
Is that Howard Hesseman aka “Jonny Fever”?
Yes it is!
Yes
Is there anything more obnoxious than canned laughter!?!
+major600
It certainly doesn't need it.
Yes.
Laverne & Shirley was filmed in front of a live audience on the studio grounds. As was Happy Days, Big Bang Theory and many others. They typically hire a comedian to warm up the crowd. They are actual people in the audience.
@@robf6105 we all know that hun. That's what LIVE AUDIENCE means.
