Daniel you are the reason I started learning video editing. I started my own channel working with filmora watching you. Keep up the good work man, you are really inspirational to us all
Same here Even tho I don't use Filmora anymore (instead Davinci Resolve), I'm still grateful to Daniel and Filmora for letting me learn video editing. Thanks 😊
YESSSS just learning and using these cuts will DRASTICALLY make your videos better. Honestly it's where I think most people should start. Quit worrying about all the cool effects and just focus on learning the art of the cut. Love it!
100% Jay. I think people get so focused on learning a “trick” that they rely to much on one specific software instead of learning strong video editing techniques which will help them master any video editing software. I may be guilty of pushing people into thinking that way myself
Your filmora9 tutorials really helped me make the best content I could make in youtube and also inspired me to start a RUclips channel in the first place so I owe you one, I hope everyone who watches from his videos benefits as much as I did!!
@@Daniel_Batal good luck for your next projects, and you're still be my inspiration... maybe if you are free you may see some of my videos on my channel 🙏
I just uploaded my first travel vlog and you were one of the channel that helped me in creating that video. Always learn a lot when I watch your video. Thank you Daniel!!!
Hello. Yes I use those editing techniques often. As soo as I can finish my unfinished videos & clean out the editor I'm gonna get the much newer version and I can't wait. Helpful video. Well done 👍👍
I'm hoping to cover more than just sticking to one software. You'll see me covering a lot of broader topics for many different levels of editors and creators.
Fantastic tips Daniel! This is one area that I have never fully explored or done much with but I know of the cuts. The way you presented it though is one of the best I have seen. I loved the visual effect, it made it very easy to understand. Thanks my friend! Top notch as always!! 👏🇨🇦
I have a video suggestion ... I don't know how to make a transition wherein the other clip turns into cinematic (as well as its ratio). I always make it obvious that suddenly, the other clip turns into a cinematic after the first clip pass.
You can’t change the aspect ratio of an export file, that needs to be consistent but you can do that with a non fixed aspect ratio crop and zoom. Effectively you’re just changing the aspect ratio of the footage you’re using and the video editing software is filling in those areas with black bars.
Nice work Daniel!!! Appreciate a lot I think you should be in the hollywood film industry for movie editing.. 😊// By the way are you really in hollywood??
Daniel, you're amazing. Like I joined this channel because of filmora. But right now, you're coming up with the videos which are actually gonna help video editors alot. Thank you❤️
Hey thanks! I hope that where I’m headed will help Creators improve their technique no matter what software their using or what kind of content they make
istg u have so many actually good useful videos with information that is just so easy to digest in a quick time and i instantly subscribed to this after watching one after another video, now im just binge-watching to absorb more, thank you very much for your effort in making these! i wish you a good day always~!
hey daniel plz tell me how did you catch up other RUclipsr like little monsters and how did you collaborate with others and how does other RUclipsr know each other are you, friends, before you started youtube

Wow that J and L were very helpful Thanks for making it
I use those cuts in almost every video. Great for smoothing out audio

You can really read our minds Mr. Daniel !!
Did I explain that well enough, Jade? Those L & J cuts are super important for smoothing out your audio

Loving the cross cut. The J-cut I use often, but yours is just slightly different that I am going to amend my style.
Both powerful techniques. I use them in every edit to smooth out transitions

I have a video suggestion ... I don't know how to make a transition wherein the other clip turns into cinematic (as well as its ratio). I always make it obvious that suddenly, the other clip turns into a cinematic after the first clip pass.
cinematic as in flashback? Nice concept.
