20th Nov 2017 Hello Fans I am still alive I need to set something straight as I know some of you are worried/frustrated with my channel. Firstly, I will state that I am obviously still alive (no mantis got me yet!) and yes my channel is still very much active irregardless of what it appears. So what's been happening? I've had to make new plans and abandon my overseas mantis shrimp ventures not because of funding or anything like that but because it turned into a nightmare that I certainly did not foresee prior to setting up overseas (I knew there was going to be difficulties but nothing on the level of 'discrimination' that I endured)... The overseas part of what I do was meant to go for a few more years but I grew tired of spending half of my 6months overseas on each trip, repairing, rebuilding the mantis shrimp system and I kept finding that by the time it was all up and running I'd only have 1-2months left of each 6month trip to actually photo/film mantis shrimp in the tanks... I wasn't meant to come 'home' until I achieved a certain 'level' overseas but due to the difficulties I have been forced to cut my losses short and return 'home' now this does NOT mean it's all over and I've given up...far from it. The overseas part of what I'm doing was exactly that, an inevitable 'part' that was to be overcome and then 'finished' so that I can return 'home' and continue, the return 'home' signified my largest, most expensive, state of the art, insane mantis shrimp system that was to be built in a few years time except due to the Overseas failure my hand has been forced to move forward faster and thus... I have begun building here at 'home' my biggest and greatest mantis shrimp aquarium system to date, sparing no expense and utilizing only the best equipment that you generally don't find in aquarium stores due to their price (due to their quality) but far more than the aquarium system alone is the Digital Studio built into the room designed professionally and specifcally for the professional filming and photography of mantis shrimp! I hope to have it all finished/built with water running and mantis hunting by the Feb-Mar next year, it is a monstrous build that encompasses so much more than a mere fish tank... What this new aquarium studio will allow for me is to finally create videos daily/hourly for uploading with minimal downtime which is it what we all really want and on top of the sheer quantity, the quality will be only the best, I've invested far more into the studio than into the aquarium itself, because I utterly REFUSE to use cheap nasty cameras like mobile phones etc. the amount I've spent and continue to spend on the studio alone just to make the best footage for YOU!... :D It's ALLLLL for you guys LOL there is no catch 22! Your patience... Your dedication... Your understanding... Means the world to me and once I'm up and photographing/filming again I will reward you with sights and sounds of stomatopods that you have yet to ever SEE BEFORE!
Sun Wukong it evolves at level 30 first, gets a major buff to attack if you trained its attack or if you trained its defence it learns a lot of special def, and physical def countering moves. Then it evolves again at lvl 60, if you trained its attack it becomes frail but extremely good at quick rounds. Because of speed and atk being dangerously high, and if you trained it's defence, it gains quite a bit of hp and def, aswell as special def, and it gains better defensive counters, and a few quick moves that don't miss.

Awesome vid Kharnath!! The intro was much better in a more simple way. Hopefully more people get to see this video. I will share it as much as possible!
+idkstupid123 That is their defense strategy to place their tail/telson/shield infront of their "face/eyes" for protection while they keep punching, mantis v mantis its common to see this strategy.
I realized how scary these creatures are, So imagine your walking down the street and some buff dude knocks you out cold,Then drags you back in his lair,Planning to do whatever to you,This is basically is what this mantis is doing in a scary way
What most don't realize or see and what every boxer / martial artists would crave....is that every strike a smasher makes actually hits the target twice (not cause of 2 "claws") but cause there are 2 measurable forces from 1 swing... 1 is the physical strike itself landing upon the target. The other however is the measurable explosive force of a cavitation bubble that forms quickly and explodes creating effectively another "strike" in the "strike"...when this bubble explodes many things are created such as light/colors, sound & heat but when I say heat I mean surface of the sun heat! 7000degrees+ .... Imagine if a boxer / martial artists could really do this, it's all fiction, except for the Stomatopods ;)...
Anything from the seafood store but unflavored (NO chilli or garlic etc) & raw (NO cooked seafood). This can literally be a HUGE variety of things from fish fillets to prawns, crab, there is SO much at a seafood store their PERFECT places for Mantis Shrimp owners. 1 of the best mixes you can get is something called "Marinara" it has a mix of small chopped up random seafoods, oyster/mussel/prawn/squid/fish etc. It's important to mix up the diet of the animal keep changing it I try to never offer the same thing 2 days in a row that way everyday its something different :).
Lobsters have no defense if I am thinking about the lobster we eat...or if you mean the lobster with the pincers it will not matter, the Stomatopod is still very very likely to overcome and kill the lobster.
The Lobster would stand no chance against a mantis its own size...but of coarse one of the monster lobsters the size of a human leg is going to stand a much better chance....lol
I'm dying to find a peacock mantis shrimp but I can't not find any where I live in Sydney these little things are fascinating! I'd love to see one for real
I've heard that a punch from these things can actually crack aquarium glass. Have you ever heard of this happening? Do you need a special tank to house them?
PLEEEEASE do a funny voice over on these guys, I couldn't help but do it in my head while watching like when it kept popping out the little wholes and that shrimp was like WTF? WTF? Where is he?! Lmfao!!!! It would be hilarious
This might be a silly question, but with my knowledge, crustaceans such as shrimps and lobsters have unique shell color and the colors are determined by the water which they live in. And I am fascinated by their color scheme and extraordinary lifestyle. Do you have any tip which gives your mantis shrimps exotic colors like ones in your videos?
1:07 He launched that shrimp into orbit
Swear these shrimps aren’t real with the power they show
I laughed so hard
and it went weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
why do I say team rocket blasting off again whenever I seen someone flying?

At this moment I was this wat a jerk.
Thats not a shrimp but ok...
Where can you catch this pokemon and at what level does it evolve?
Sun Wukong it evolves at level 30 first, gets a major buff to attack if you trained its attack or if you trained its defence it learns a lot of special def, and physical def countering moves. Hey I rewind that shit....😭😭😢😆😢😭😭😂😂😂
Being sucked through an opening in the vent by ANOTHER mantis shrimp is the stuff of horror movies....
1:55 After done beating the sh*t out of the shrimp. The shrimp took the other shrimp to mate.
2:02 The other shrimp arrived at home after a long time working to find Its mate. But it didn't know what was about to happen.
2:13 At this moment it knew. IT. IS. F*CKED
3:40
And this is when the crayfish knew he "F"ed up.
I didn’t know mantis shrimp could grab crayfish let alone pick them up
8:20
"Come on, now. Give me it, it won't be painful.."
"No!"
Awesome vid Kharnath!! The intro was much better in a more simple way. Hopefully more people get to see this video. I will share it as much as possible!
It's a small adaptation, in general I want to keep all entry titles under 15sec long MAX...
The mantis shrimp in 4:31 was like a firefighter saving a cat from a tree...... except this time the firefighter eats the cat.
They are a frequent comical sight to behold which makes them such interesting creatures to keep!
That actually happens more frequently than you'd expect. It's a growing problem amongst firefighters
The fish swimming back out of the hole was hilarious
What species of mantis shrimp is this? Beautiful color.
The “ Iron Fist “ of the Ocean. 6:15 Right between the Eyes , 😂
0:41 crab: “ let me out let me out let me out!!!
Gets pummels and eaten*
hahaha i could imagine the shrimp saying "falcon punch!" right before he kos them
the mantis's reaction is just like "pinch me you little punk I dare ye"
3:09 Tag team, lol.
LMAO
wow i thought all smasher mantis shrimp were garish looking but this little guy is practically a ninja with that black shell.
one punch shrimp!!!
+JackyGaming LOL
I want to get a mantis shrimp and name it Saitama
Xd
Thanos snap
The mantis shrimp is smart. It attacks the crab’s pincers to prevent the crab from attacking.
I'm sorry if I sound dumb, but when mantis shrimp sense danger do they curl up and rely on their shell?
+idkstupid123 That is their defense strategy to place their tail/telson/shield infront of their "face/eyes" for protection while they keep punching, mantis v mantis its common to see this strategy.
A crab had its brain punched out by Maximus...
1:08 hahahaha
That other mantis shrimp is like dis bitch is mine
At 3:50
How hard are these to keep?
The pull through was amazing
Do you sell that shrimp?
Man, those regular shrimp didn't stand a chance. After one hit they seemed thoroughly incapacitated.
So does each mantis shrimp need to be kept separate?
Theyll kill eachother.
Yes. They Doo separate
At least if you have a male and a female that want to make up it's hard to tell when they're going to do it. Or they star killing each other
What kind of smashers are they?
I realized how scary these creatures are,
So imagine your walking down the street and some buff dude knocks you out cold,Then drags you back in his lair,Planning to do whatever to you,This is basically is what this mantis is doing in a scary way
That crabs claw exploded...
What most don't realize or see and what every boxer / martial artists would crave....is that every strike a smasher makes actually hits the target twice (not cause of 2 "claws") but cause there are 2 measurable forces from 1 swing...

yea we know
That is both fascinating and cool.
What species is the blue one?
Felt sorry for the shrimp at 3:35. One behind me, one in front if me. I'm fucked.
Those 2 small smashers were quite unique together.....
the name of the shrimp being fed at 7:00?
Could u tell me what species would be nice in a five gal long? Like a fluval spec V is what I have
was that a baby in the bottom left corner taking a swing? 3"18ish?
It's SO cute
+NerdyKid258 That is EXACTLY what I think! =]
I'm pretty sure the scientific name of the mantis shrimp is: "Fuck you up shrimp" They show no mercy.......
crab: no no no leave me a .. ouch! ouch! stop it! ouch! no! ouch! ouch...
Where can I purchase such critters?
Just askin Jeremy is that u in the pfp ?
Hey again :) I have gotten my own peacock Mantis Shrimp and I was wondering where you got your crabs. I am currently feeding mine some feeder fish.
The ocean, they do not do well on live food all the time....try to give it live food as a snack only.
Ok thanks
What do you feed them most of the time
Anything from the seafood store but unflavored (NO chilli or garlic etc) & raw (NO cooked seafood).
It's logical :D
Do you eat the same thing every single day.... ?
So why make the mantis ='[ or maybe I just treat mine "too equally" LOL...
These are hungry critters. I can’t believe they don’t break the aquarium glass. Beautiful shrimp.
Wouldn't want to play thumps with that thing lol
How do you think these stomatopods would do against a lobster? :)
Lobsters have no defense if I am thinking about the lobster we eat...or if you mean the lobster with the pincers it will not matter, the Stomatopod is still very very likely to overcome and kill the lobster.
Kharn Stomatopods Ahh Ok. DIdn't know that thanks :)
Dead lobster, if they are the same size.
Some lobsters can get really huge and I mean the ones in the ocean but Vermont or Maine have some really huge lobsters bigger than the mantis shrimp
The Lobster would stand no chance against a mantis its own size...but of coarse one of the monster lobsters the size of a human leg is going to stand a much better chance....lol
@3:10 a smasher on the other side smashed the shrimp XD this things are fucking bad ass
+Sie Ehm Be Their real names are Mantis Badass Shrimp =']
Where can I get live food for my mantis?
Eric Southard probably any bait and tackle shop if you live near the ocean.
Fresh water feeder shrimp 👌
It sounds like somone's playing Ping Pong

they are so fast you cant even see them hit them lol just smoke comes off his claws haha
what does the force of the impact do to the victims ( fish/crabs) and what would it do to a person's hand?
Hurt alot.
They can easily break the bones in your fingers.
you have very beautiful corals in your aquarium
how about a mantis shrimp vs puffer?
I'm really excited for that battle Y(^_^)Y
I just like watching aliens fight
Has any crab ever harm or killed one on them?
Ya i was wondering the same.
Never heard or seen a mantis shrimp.. This is something.
I used to have a peacock mantis and that hit me twice! very painful!
Finger hands. Describe your pain how painful this it's
God theyre are so disgusting I get goosebumps.. yet so fascinating.
Naw their cute :3
Thick
2:18 he was like the fuck was that
I've heard that a punch from these things can actually crack aquarium glass. Have you ever heard of this happening? Do you need a special tank to house them?
8:41 Man those legs are spasming so fast. Imagine the trauma
3:06
Blue robster:Oh so painful! T.T
But fortunately it doesn't chasing me now...
*Another mantis shrimp:Hello!*
5:54
Can I just give you my pincers..?
5:58
Fuck no bitch, you're coming with me
Mantis shrimp makes my stomach crawl
It has a pretty shade of blue, and acts like a cat... zipping across left right and center while "punching" n stuff.
3:30 plot twist :o
Do they fight each other? because that one took the craw fish away from the other
1:33 RUN!!!!!!!!
How expensive is it to feed these "Terminators"?
I need that fish..ima call him thumper
Please do more mantis shrimp videos
PLEEEEASE do a funny voice over on these guys, I couldn't help but do it in my head while watching like when it kept popping out the little wholes and that shrimp was like WTF? WTF? Where is he?! Lmfao!!!! It would be hilarious
5:26 oh I will clean your tank for you! Where's my croissa- AAAAAAAAH!!!!!!
Are these types of shrimp cannibalistic?
cutiekazoe10 Mantis Shrimp will definitely try to kill any other Mantis shrimps in the same tank as it, though Idk if it'll eat it, most likely yes
This might be a silly question, but with my knowledge, crustaceans such as shrimps and lobsters have unique shell color and the colors are determined by the water which they live in. And I am fascinated by their color scheme and extraordinary lifestyle. Do you have any tip which gives your mantis shrimps exotic colors like ones in your videos?
the white shrimp @ 7:00 got gripped by an anemone on the tail
At 1:10 is that how Carol Danvers felt when Thanos power punched her off screen in Endgame?
Mantis shrimp is a very interesting creature

Can he break the glass?
At 1:50 the punch is up...and it's good.
Mantis shrimp vs pistol shrimp
it's not a fair fight but it's funny
😆
