    "That's why they hire men". Though Hank said this out of fun but imagine how Walt must've felt, in front of his wife and his teen son. For 50 fcuking years he was treated in a same way despite being one of the smartest people out there. He deserved respect but always faced humiliation. No wonder why later in the show it was not about money, it's about the pride he earned for himself.

    Walter was actually a very relatable person. Imagine being as smart as he is, and knowing you are, but never recognized, being humiliated, feeling like he is not able to take financially care of his family etc. Once he finally is able to break free and do what he enjoys, even if it’s creating meth, he exels at it and get recogntion for it. Idk but from someone who has a similar kind of personality it’s understandable.
    You want recognition for your work, create something. And for some people that stuff is more important than morals.

    • @BEdwardStover
      @BEdwardStover 2 дня назад +1

      Well, walter is relatable to me, and other very smart people. But very relatable he is not. No one else has that experience of being the smartest guy in the room always.
      Even people with a lot of training, college degrees, that many years later, they forgot most of it. Walter remembers it all.

    • @BEdwardStover
      @BEdwardStover 2 дня назад +1

      Like when the battery was dead in the desert. Walter did not know enough to know he could not charge the battery by hand cranking the generator. They would have been out of there faster had he started with the making batteries.
      I was a mechanic and an engineer. I knew the generator would not work. It is nice when shows get details right.
      But other times it is the chemo brain taking over. Replacing floor joists that were fine, imagining he saw rot where there was none. Or the fly episode.
      Chemotherapy and radiation changed his brain which lead to the personality changes.

      Especially the tiny details. After killing Krazy 8, who Walt saw take off the crust of his sandwich, we'd see Walter cutting off the crust of his own sandwich. Mike had ice in his whiskey and Walt didn't, but he did after killing Mike. I just finished the show for the first time since the finale aired and it's more impressive the second time

      like he said he never really had control over his life like most ppl he just lived and things happened. he learned the value of life just 2 years before his death and only then he unlocked his true potential if he had the same control his whole life he would have a wife and kids that support and love him and would do anything to help instead of getting him early into grave
