Thank you for this vlog, very informative. We will be doing this cruise in April 2023 (postponed from April 2021) and you have answered some of my questions!
That's no problem at all. Thank you for watching and commenting! Oh so exciting, it will be worth the wait. Have a fab time! I've just uploaded the second vlog from the trip which has some more footage :)
Yes people are very friendly! If I remember correctly, daily there were ‘solo traveller’ meet ups. So there’s a chance to get to talk to others who are travelling on their own.
Happy birthday to your mom! I absolutely love your review of this historic oceanliner. I am hoping to take my mother on one of Cunard's world tours on the same vessel. However, I do have a concern. I am a black man, and based on your experience on board, do you think my mom and I would appear out of place? Thank you again for this review.
Thank you for watching and for the message for my mum! I'm glad you enjoyed it. You definitely should book to go on the cruise it's fantastic, you'll have a great time :) no problem! The second part of the vlog will be out tomorrow :)
Come ahead and join one of the Cunard - Queen Mary 2 Facebook pages. You'll find other black Cunarders there, and the only thing that might raise an issue is if you declare you don't believe in dressing up in the main dining room on gala (formal) nights. 😂 Not that you would, but that tends not to go over well . . . Me, I'm going in December. Welcome!
You will be fine. We are both Black and felt welcomed on Cunard. My brother is married to a white lady and they had a blast on Cunard also. No need to worry. It's P&O that you should be worried about, but definitely NOT Cunard. Book it and enjoy.
The ship is getting old and boring. Just came back from 16 days Cunard. It degraded a lot. food quality and quantity BAD. especially at the Lido. Super short handed. It is at the Carnival cruise style. No dance host, no queens room Hostess, no professional dancer exhibition, etc. will not recommend for this price ( we are diamond on Cunard, not a newbie)
@@alltravelperspectives all people go on about with these cruises is the bloomin food! I’m a health freak 🤠 ok, all I’m worried about is rough seas and feeling seasick. Can you reassure me at all….?
@@simonstones1918 haha! Food can be a big part of cruising but there’s lots of options of things to do! There is always plenty of healthy options too. There was one day where you could feel it more than other days but it wasn’t bad. My sister in law takes motion sickness tablets and she’s been fine :)
I am sailing from NYC to Southhampton in October and I loved this review. Thanks!
Thank you for watching! I’m so glad you found it helpful. I do have a part 2 on the channel as well. Hope you have a fantastic cruise in October ☺️
Enjoy!!!
Loving all these new creators RUclips has been giving me .
2:58 Her majesty, the Queen Mary 2 is no cruise ship.
She is an Ocean liner. The biggest Ocean liner of all time and the last one in service
Thanks for commenting :) I know, just easier to say when chatting! We absolutely loved our time on there.
Thank you for sharing.. Looks really nice...
Thanks for watching!
@@alltravelperspectives You are welcome. Have a great summer.

What was your room#? I'm travelling in October
I can't remember the room number but we were on deck 11 midship :) Have a fab cruise in October!
@@alltravelperspectives I'm in 11105, so same part of the ship.
@@lachmaclean2383 Have a great cruise!
Love your accent what part of England you from?
She’d be the midlands way…..

Had its day has it?
So it’s just basically eating junk food then….
Not really you can get up to whatever you want. Lots of activities, places to eat, things to see. I just don’t pick up the camera all day ☺️

@@simonstones1918 they did for my sister in law but I’ve read not for others. I’d maybe have a research and see what’s best for you :)
