Your team has a bright future again and I am happy about that though. I always lived in Buffalo but my favorite Aunt lived in Colorado so both Denver and the Avalanche have always been my secondary favorite teams. So even if you lose this weekend, dont get too down. Know that your team is going places in the future.

All year we hear how "not real" #17 is, Lamar, Mahomes, Burrow etc. are so much better. McDermott/Beane now have us positioned well. Most starters got a little rest in week 18, everyone is reasonably healthy. The weather should be pro-Buffalo, but, pro-Denver also! i honestly wouldn't be that shocked. It could come down to any factor. Josh has an off day (he did last time against the Broncos). The defense gives up 15 yards a play like normal and doesnt get the turnovers they've thrived on all year. Mcdermott butchers the clock again. They should win but i've seen the bills blow easier games.
Did he have an off day or did James Cook fumble on his first carry? Did Davis let a perfectly thrown ball go through his hands and into the waiting arms of a Broncos defender? Bills fan here. We can't/won't be complacent against anyone. That said, if wk18 had been about the 1 seed, both Bills and Chiefs would have been playing starters to win their games and the Broncos might have been finishing the season with 3 losses. Bills to win by a TD and a bit.

The moment will prove to big for Bo Nix There’s regular season and then there’s the post season. There’s only so much Payton can scheme in those high leverage moments and those defenses.
Before beating KC bench and practice players, they were 0-6 against AFC teams with winning record (Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, KC and Chargers 2x), they are 10-7 because KC gave them one win and they beat teams with losing record 8x. They simply had so much luck because of weak schedule. Every time they faced good QB, they got beaten pretty easy. Their numbers mostly came against very bad teams.

This happens every year. Buffalo is the contender that everybody loves to doubt and hate. Unfortunately for the haters, this year is a different year and for once the bills are going into the postseason healthy on defense. I like the broncos and they are in a good trajectory, but going into Buffalo and winning this game with a rookie quarterback is a lot to ask. Keep in mind that the bills are undefeated at home this season and also look at Sean McDermott's career against rookie quarterbacks. It does not paint a pretty picture for the broncos.

I'm high on the Mile Highers but this is a very tough assignment. It won't shock me to see them pull it off but I can't bet hard earned money on them either. It may come down to game planning and taking advantage of little known matchups.
As a Broncos fan who is realistic about a rookie QB rolling up into Buffalo for a playoff game, I can say there is one thing about Nix that makes me think an upset is possible: He is not scared. He may be a little intimidated and a bit overwhelmed by the environment but once the game starts he will be 100% focused. There's also the fact that Payton and the coaching staff will have this team ready to play this game. I can't wait.

If the Broncos get 4+ sacks they’ll win. When Allen is rattled, the game plan slips away. It’s all going to come down to the Broncos front 4 vs the Bills line.
Honestly, the Bills secondary is suspect and Nix can really air it out; the Broncos defense is suffocating while Josh Allen does make big mistakes sometimes... It's certainly not likely, but in the realm of possibility when you really break down the stylistic matchup.

Broncos are playing on 100% house money. We weren't supposed to get more than 5 wins in total. We took a gigantic part of that cap hit and still made the playoffs. There aren't any other teams that, quite literally, have nothing left to lose. This team is dangerous and scary. Noone is overlooking the Bills. They're 8.5 point favorites. Everyone is overlooking the Broncos, and thats exactly where we want to be.

Bills fan here. We can't/won't be complacent against anyone. That said, if wk18 had been about the 1 seed, both Bills and Chiefs would have been playing starters to win their games and the Broncos might have been finishing the season with 3 losses. Bills to win by a TD and a bit.

They simply had so much luck because of weak schedule. Every time they faced good QB, they got beaten pretty easy. Their numbers mostly came against very bad teams.

This happens every year. Buffalo is the contender that everybody loves to doubt and hate. Unfortunately for the haters, this year is a different year and for once the bills are going into the postseason healthy on defense. I like the broncos and they are in a good trajectory, but going into Buffalo and winning this game with a rookie quarterback is a lot to ask. Keep in mind that the bills are undefeated at home this season and also look at Sean McDermott's career against rookie quarterbacks. It does not paint a pretty picture for the broncos.

As a Broncos fan who is realistic about a rookie QB rolling up into Buffalo for a playoff game, I can say there is one thing about Nix that makes me think an upset is possible: He is not scared.
He may be a little intimidated and a bit overwhelmed by the environment but once the game starts he will be 100% focused.
There's also the fact that Payton and the coaching staff will have this team ready to play this game.

Broncos are playing on 100% house money. We weren't supposed to get more than 5 wins in total. We took a gigantic part of that cap hit and still made the playoffs. There aren't any other teams that, quite literally, have nothing left to lose. This team is dangerous and scary. Noone is overlooking the Bills. They're 8.5 point favorites. Everyone is overlooking the Broncos, and thats exactly where we want to be.
