This is a game changer. I've been waiting for a good deal on an Atlas Pro 2wd...this is exactly that but cheaper and with better range (at least with the GT). I'm also really digging the wider board since I'm taller. I'm eager to see the ride video to confirm that the GT is the way to go.
I've spent a lot of time in various Southeast Asian countries, both for business (extended months living there) or leisure (multiple weeks at a time) and the one thing that always takes some time to adjust to - if you're there in the summer months, the heat and humidity can be something else. This is especially crazy in places like Shanghai or Hong Kong or Manila where everything indoors is air conditioned to practically FREEZING levels, so the transition in and out of buildings is practically a physical shock. I get why you're hanging out indoors, especially with the increased global temps this year.
I really like this wheel setup. 150mm is perfect. 97mm ABEC is also a good choice, prefer MAD Wheelz 105 but 97 are at least useful. Much better than Cloudwheel, to me. The motor guards are nice. Too bad they scrape...
I ride a backfire zealot S with cloud wheels. My next board will be the pivot GT. At first, 30mph on my zealot was scary, I got used to it. My only zealot complaint, range. I want to ride all day, come on and catch up battery technology. This Pivot, it’s looking like it’s a lot of board for the cost. I’m sold. More range and higher speed, then the carbon fiber is sexy. Belt drive, brake light… did I mention I’m sold. It’s a funny goal I have, I’m trying to reach 1 mile per dollar spent with my backfire. I’m getting close. Time for a new board.
Hello everyone. My name is Mike and I work for Propel in Canada. If you have any questions about the Propel Pivot series for either the S or GT please feel free to ask here and I’ll answer as soon as I can. Also, sorry, Daniel, about the pull bar handle screws. Rest assured anyone else who has already purchased that your pull bar handle screws are correct. The decision to send a handle and lighting kit to Daniel was made late.
@@rosnowEndeavor can handle 7 inch tires well but 6 and under is stretching its design function. The belt guards would be low. I’ve seen some riders do it. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Hi! 👋 What is the IP rating of the Pivot S? Does the remote also have an IP rating? Also, please make the Pivot boards compatible with your new colour display remote globally.
@@Why-I-Oughta We passed the IP66 test but have never felt comfortable with water ratings because they encourage water use and to that it just doesn’t make sense. So, we’ve never advertised or pushed a water rating for our boards. I hope this comment isn’t misconstrued as one either. Just trying to answer your question.
@@mikemenard4543Good to hear that you passed the IP66 test. That is reassuring because the weather is very unpredictable where I live. People like me will be more comfortable purchasing e-boards when the IP rating is made known publicly because we 'will' get caught in the rain at some point and we want to feel assured that the board won't break forever if it gets slightly wet for a short time because it suddenly started raining-on a blazing hot day when rain was not predicted in the weather forecast. ☀️⛈️🌈😮💨
Am I the only one that not liking the generic remote? Feels like they could design the remote to suit the entire board but it's nice that more companies are coming up with 2 in 1 type boards though.
Hi Akalia. I know you want an updated remote design and we have been hard at work at exactly that and when it’s ready it will be backward compatible with not only our products but also others. Daniel mentioned tried and tested with our truck design. We felt the same way. Battle-tested. It’s the same philosophy with this remote. It is probably the most used remote around the world for esk8 and it’s had less than 1% fail rates. It does its job and it’s easy for anyone who drops one to get another. We wanted to make it easy for our owners. We could have tried something less tested but we don’t want our riders to be beta testers for a remote company’s latest offering.
We had fierce debate about the bottom design. Ultimately we just loved how bold it felt slightly larger. It showcases some of the details of the Pivot wordmark art.
I've been waiting for this review - looking forward to the ride vid. Though I've got my eye on the GT rather than the S as I need the extra range so hoping for that review... :) Looks like the best AT option out there for under 1500. But want RKP or TKP trucks instead
I need some help I put lock tire on the screws for the motor mount and they leaked into the motor and now is squeaky and tough to move. Can I just apply acetone or will this cause more damage the tool won’t catch. Help someone who has experience
Not sure I would go that far. 😊 Ultimately, in the haste of sending out the pull bar last minute the screws for the pull bar were missed. They were sent with the lighting kit immediately once this was realized.
I have the Propel Endeavor Pro. Easily the most comfortable and fun board I have ever ridden. Bought it right after seeing you review it. But the price hurts. Glad to see Propel is breaking into this price range and doing so with a bang!
Hey can someone help me find out what cloud wheels I need to order I look on the website but I don’t see the Pivot S for an option so I don’t know what model to get please if anyone have any information
I have been waiting for this board's review. This board is kind of nutty for the price. 55amp ESC, decent range and BVR carbon fibre. All of that just for $850 including the shipping. Pretty good,
Daniel pretty much nailed what we aimed for with the Pivot S. If you were someone considering a 2-in-1 chances are you were looking at boards that cost 25-100% more than the Pivot S does. Its primary innovations are that it brings a lot of things that previously cost a lot more to more people. It’s secondary innovation is that we brought PCBA battery design to this price point. It had only previously been seen in boards twice as much or more. The third innovation is that we include an integrated brake light in every Pivot. The last notable one beyond speed and the inclusion of precision alloy rims is that the BVR unibody has modest vibration dampening over some of the more rigid carbon designs out there. The combo of all of this at a low price was our goal.
Yeah but will you raise the price. Because in my humble opinion one thousand dollars would be enough to nudge me to look elsewhere and if I'm going to spread 1 thousand I might as well spend 1200 dollars and get what I want.
Still happy with my backfire g3 plus damn, the technology just keeps getting better and better… still salty I have to bend over to turn that thing on though
Good review...The Hand controller resembles my Meepo NLS Pro. Also (non related) i purchased the water pick you reviewed some time ago and it has been fantastic. Thanks.

That shot of the Hadean in the fire safe locker xD
I almost spilled my drink then xDDD

They only scrape if the PU wheels are on and the pull bar is lifted high. The pull bar also functions as bumper and additional way to move the board.
How many boards can one man have XD omg! haha
Never enough 😎

Can you do a comparison of after market drive belts? Which are less likely to break?

have you guys ever considered offering the Endeavor with these 150mm street wheels or rather tires? Seems like it might be the same rims...

I agree, not a fan of large brand names on boards, that P logo makes more sense. Black paint pens to the rescue!

Skate tool has outside threader ❤
It so long -38.78” and 10”! What do you use such a longboard for other then offroad?
Does the exway atlas use t20 or t25 screws
I agree with you , it’s kind off wide
Would love you to cover the GT 🙏
Nice shoes,very Nice~
Should I be using loctite on my motor adjustment screws? 🤔
Well if you don’t, just check on those screws every now and then.
What's the lumen rating on those lights exactly?
They’re the same lamps as the Endeavor GT lighting kit so 2000 lumen each.

Try putting the handle on the back. It will make the board feel heavier when you tow it around but you will be able to use it with street wheels

What do you think of the cloudwheel 110 rovers on the wave ? Worth the switch from 105 cause of the rubber layer ?
