Do love your videos! You were one of the people who got me into metal detecting so I thank you for that. Keep up the great vids
Super hunt! Thanks for taking me along. Don’t forget to charge your equipment.
CAN TOR - Canterbury mint very awesome. Every hammered coins found is a magical moment
There is me avoiding paths like the plague for the last 10 years, although once I did find a 17th century ceremonial sword on a path below a church. Might get back in them now.
Great finds! Glad your luck has changed. Hope it stays that way for the year ahead and I look forward to seeing the results on videos yet to come.
Me too. He was so helpful and made it fun never took himself seriously. He’s knowledge is amazing .
Nice hunt ,love the first silver coin .Had good things in pathways ,but more modern...ish , silver 6pence ,3pence and the latest a silver half crown , all with my Q30+ , and a dolphin gold pendent with my GoFind 44 . Dont forget to charge the Nox !!!!!
Cheers Chris. Great spirit Sir! What an uplifting individual you are 😉
Thank you kindly
Wonderful day out! You are absolutely right about the old pathways. Fascinated by the lead object, might it be a seal of some kind?
You are the man Kris. Bloody excellent finds
Thank you for taking us on another great adventure 👍
Awesome, well done Kris 👍😁 vans looking good! 🍀 Xx
Love the shades!!! & well done on the hammereds the detector gods were shining on you
Real treasure hunting - always enjoy your videos.
A dream day detecting fabulous episode 👍
Don't forget to charge your gear 😉. That's your advice for the day, oh and this, keep that pathway secret, You've found yourself a proper honey hole! Good show sir. Glad to your vanmobile up and running again!
Your copper did have an imprint. Don’t dismiss it. I thought I saw a shape of a king facing to the right and hibernia on the back. Don’t dismiss anything. Amazing finds!
Magic finds ATB!
kris at 3.00 mins with the coin of nothingness i thought the face would appear and start berating you like the last one, my son thought that was so funny :0) great finds and keep em coming kris :0)
What amazing finds. I gotta find me some old trading paths over here in Canada. There has to be lots of old trading routes. I hope you will let us know what that lead token is after it has been in the ultrasound cleaner? Will the Nox work if you are charging it? Strap a Power Bank to the arm cuff and charge on the go.
Great vid Kris, you need one of those battery things for the Nox...
Very nice finds indeed 👍the lead item could it be a gaming piece? Nice hammies Kris 👏👏👏
Set the alarm on your phone to remind you or charge it before you make the tea lol
Amazing finds. Well done.
Great hunt, lovely finds what a permission. Congrats my friend 👍👍
Another great vid always make me laugh that’s worth a find in its self these days .
Ild love one of those coins 🪙, yeah I use to garden foe a living my gloves were exactly like that 🤣
Nice fingerless gloves 😅 Fab finds
Fantastic! Well done! I think I saw CAN TOR on the back of your second coin. Isn't that Canterbury mint?
Congrats kris on a double hammered day, not sure about your neck of the woods but Eddie pennies around here are almost always clipped to death that one is in lovely condition 👍
Fantastic permission. Good effort.
I think those of us who appreciate the history over the value will always get a buzz out of finding a hammered coin...
Also, do you remember a couple of videos ago I said I had only ever found one Roman coin, I only went & found myself a silver Denarius last Sunday! Hadrian... Little stonker it is too. I'll send you some photos. 💪
👍 I forget to do it too 👍
I'm with you. Love the lead thing. That's my favourite.
Great fun Chris. Love your enthusiasm buddy. Does this man not entertain. Well done on the hammereds 😄
just wanted to post a comment about those hideous gloves of yours mate, they look exactly like my gloves!🤔congrats on the coins Kris,a 400 and 800 year old coin, i would need heart medication after that find, nice work👍
It is just so mind-blowing to me and makes me a little jealous to be honest, that you guys are able to find coins that are older than my country! I really wish we had that kind of history here, that could be found with metal detectors anyway.
If you are from USA, your country is actually older than 1492.
@@ancheno7167 Which is why I specified with metal detectors... Indigenous people in the US weren't using metal prior to the arrival of Europeans...
I would love to find a 400 year old coin! Can you imagine?!
@@micah06v8 isn't theoretically possible to find old objects made from hammered natural copper or some strange imports from the south in their old settlements or consegration sites ?
chances might be super low, but at least in theory and at the right spot.....
BRILLIANT FINDS FOLK ESPECIALLY THE HAMMERED, NOT BAD WEATHER EITHER , GOT DOWN TO ZERO DEGREES OTHER NIGHT , TAKE CARE BROTHER 🤘🤘
Magnificent hunt my good sir!
Fab-u-lous darling!! 🤟🏻
Must be your religious gloves!!
Great hunt!! Glad your back on really great coinage.
Thanks for the video Kris - could your item be a gaming piece or perhaps a coin weight?
I'm still searching for that elusive Hammy. I'll find her one day.
Half groat. They have a crown on the top of both the rose and thistle👍
wanted to be the first to comment! Watching now :D Awkward intro haha!! 😅
Awesome hunt! Thought the second hammy was an edward, i find quite a lot on my local permission! that first hammered cleaned up beautifully!! I've recently started looking at a church on my permission and working out the likely route that locals used to take to get to it across my fields. No defined footpaths but i've found some good bits and pieces from areas I suspect people used to walk along.
good day @ the office mate
Kris - it looks like you forgot to pull your fly zip all the way up, for that intro!
It’s ok. I have a sturdy pair of long Johns on underneath!
@@Addictedtobleeps :[)
Show off!!
That little lead thing could be a coin weight just a educated guess
I thought the same ,coin weight slings to mind ,I know a lot are bronze too.
Nice Im knee deep in yer fideos buddy just starting out next week.
I can’t imagine how amazing it must be to find a coin 400 years old! Holy moly! Congratulations
Another great video, well done.
Are you using an app on your phone to identify the hammered coins?
Very nice coins.
One of my permissions has a very old path on it but unfortunately in recent years some fool has put a layer concrete over it 😭
Lol great intro, so funny.
Gloves 😆
Say my furry friend along those ancient pathways where they might have gotten closer to town people might have been off to the side selling stuff and dropping goodies just a thought anyway good luck .I live in Central Oklahoma there's nothing here ancient except dinasor bones,it's really cool to see the stuff you find. Yippee ki yaa holy moley
Yeah! The vans back
That hammered Edward I think it was Canterbury mint ok good hunting
Congrats on the two hammereds and the little lead thing. Did you know you have fingers missing in your glove?
Great video!...You don't have to rub the coin with the tinfoil....You can wrap it in the foil with the shiny side around the coil after you spit into it....Less chance of damage. Smells bad!
you Islanders are pretty savage
spitting on your finds.......
how about just carrying a super tiny container with saltwater in your pocket ?
But how am I supposed to know the age of a path?
A bit of local research or googling the area will help :)
Great day well done love pathways but hate the tin rubbish .
Awesome!
Think of the people who lost those coins could of meant they went hungry.
Greetings from West Yorkshire
Hi, could you tell me your detector settings please??thanks !
Did it take long to charge with the back light left on 🤣
As my eyes wish to find something on that item. The best I can see is an ant.
Nice hammereds, lad!
You could head over to Sifter's live show at 9pm on Wednesdays and win yourself a new pair of lady gloves. Thanks for the video.
😆
James I half groat/II pence because the rose has a crown on it
wow what have you been drinking. 400 of years of grot dissolved from the face of that beautiful old silver. BLEACH GOB!!!😉 😂Great vid man in a van.👨🦯👌
