Zammyz if you're starting from scratch you can use it to learn notes and just get a feel for keyboard instuments. Melodicas have smaller keys so it's difficult to compare it to a piano
You would be better off buying a cheap keyboard, the blowing seems really annoying and you can't adjust the volume
