Same here, Doing 10 justaerin with thunder hammer and Multi Melta just Deep strike and smashing around. It's 970 points. But they do eat everything they get the hands on.
I won a game against an imperial fists player with abaddon killing sigismund via challenge, maybe that was the execration though. I think he does pretty well in challenges thus far but I usually just like to keep him with that 10 man unit with thunder hammers and 2 multi meltas

Solid analysis on my personal legion of which I have 5000pts fully built and being painted up. Abaddon is very good, although don’t underestimate him in challenges. Horus is very good and can easily earn his points back but his ascended profile needs work. All 3 special abilities should be different for 400 points. It should be comes back with D6 wounds but rage 3 is crazy. Worldbreaker should have brutal 3 I think it’s insane that it does not but he can comfortably shrug off dreadnought attacks with 3++, 4+ for each wound bc of FNP. Not saying dreadnoughts won’t kill him they are definitely one of the best anti- primarch units in the game. He’s a solid primarch character although I do miss the disabling strike rule. For 600pts then 1000pts he should probably have it along with the talon of horus having brutal 3. He killed the emperor he should have the two strongest melee weapons and also the edge of the spear ability where the vengeful spirit bombs the board. Again the points cost.
Lol Horus does not need Disabling Strike back on his base profile. He's already got exceptionally good 1v1 capabilities; mathhammer wise I'm pretty sure he already beats all other Primarchs as is. Honestly I'd nerf base Horus a bit overall and decrease his points cost. I agree with Circle that he shouldn't have that 3+, but he should have at least 50 points knocked off his price for something like that. Disabling Strike, 3+, or Brutal 3 would be ok on Ascended Horus if he keeps his price.
Well, Horus can allocate wounds himself, which means he can put S10, Brutal 2 Wounds on Custodes, which they are not going to survive thanks to their 6+ invulnerable save...
I also wish they would have had the Luperci in the PDF I see a lot of people making conversions for them I have a unit of 10 sitting on a shelf just for the fuck of it
@@mikediamond1234 i like the chieftans as a concept and the way people kitnashed them i dont get to play so.idl how they work but i love galvorbak and i love SOH pitting the two together would be awesome to me how did you make yours?
@@john12644Insanely late response, however I still play SOH like crazy. For chieftains, I use reavers bodies, CSM power fists, and boarding shields. For the heads I just use a bunch of CSM bald screaming heads or the old SOH sergeant heads from the resin upgrade pack. Chieftains still go fucking crazy
As for Horus he seems kind of eh for 600pts. You only get 1 turn of bonus reactions over the whole game as his Warlord trait doesn't have one attached to it compared to all the other primarchs. So over a 5 turn game you get 3 instead of 5 additional reactions. Then you have a similar combat effectiveness compared to the lion and a couple of the other fighty primarchs but you cost almost 50% more
"Regular 600 point Horus" makes me chuckle, like FW and Horus's pride wanted a bigger model for 400 more

Disabling strike was a real pain in the ass i swear lol. But yeah, there are rules I would want back, like Molecular Severance on Valdor.

I think Horus should have a 4++ and be 50-75 points cheaper.
