I made the Tortilla Soup and it was fabulous. The Pico made it. I did not have (or could not find) all the different chile powders so I just used regular chile powder. recipe makes a lot. Thanks, Shelby

I love the recipe for your baked beans. What is funny is that our recipes are identical to each other because my husband and I barbecue all the time and we made up our own beans too. The first two baby steps are the hardest but after that it gets so much easier. The book is called Strategic Relocation by Joel Skousen, and really goes into great detail things you may not have thought of when deciding where to put roots down.

I just put them in hot oil for a few seconds to make then pliable and so they won't crack when you roll them.

On your beef enchiladas, what was the shiny substance on the corn tortillas (before you rolled them up)? This weeks' menus were amazing.
I cooked them in oil for a few seconds on each side to keep them from cracking when I rolled them
