I’m in love with how different the art style is from your Best Friend animatic. Best Friend had a much more lighthearted, fun, and romantic tone to it - of two best friends turned lovers. But Promise illustrates Suguru’s separation from Satoru, and how they both dealt with it. The scratchy, handwritten feel of the art feels raw and dramatic, and it adds a great impact to the overall tone of the animatic. While I may not ship Satoru and Suguru, I can totally see why and how these two could be romantically involved. This is beautifully made and I can see the hard work and effort you put into this piece. 🤍🤍
