I was there that night and the Super Moon above the stage lighting up the ocean waters below and The Pumpkins pushing the speakers to eleven Billy and friends were well aware this was not an average tour stop......This night rock the heavens above!!
We agree completely! This show was the COMPLETE PACKAGE! Great band, at the height of their powers, incredible venue, and a beautiful night with a moon so you felt you could touch it! During Tonight, Tonight, I don’t think a single person didn’t glance up to that sky at one point. Fabulous. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts.
I went to that concert! It was awesome, the sky was beautiful. The only think I couldn’t understand was why was there a…. mmm, exotic dancer on stage with kids.
The show was gosh darn AMAZING!!! Such a great night for a show also. You can never go wrong at this venue. We have seen so many outstanding concerts here! Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️🎸🎸🎸
Awesome Live Stream. Danette and Anthony, I Love Smashing Pumpkins. Billy Corgan became a singer and song writer because of his Love for the Band Rush. Billy did a speech at Rush's Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on June 25th, 2010. Billy personally thanked Geddy, Alex and Neil for saving his life with their music as young teen that struggled with depression and fitting in. Billy told them they're the reason he became and singer and song writer. Neil was not at the ceremony. 🎃🔨🤘
Hiya Brenda! We knew that story also. I (Anthony) was a big Rush fan, back in the day. I had every album. On vinyl! Loved those records. The Pumpkins were on fire last night, and it was such fun seeing Billy, James, and Jimmy together. Jimmy is an unbelievably underrated drummer, and they sounded incredible! Thanks so much for sharing with us Brenda! ❤️
So VERY cool of you to stream 🎃🔨 There were 33 people watching live when I joined in and it was pretty steady... Anyway i shared the link (without any prior conversation or anything) in a direct message with Andres (who just saw them in Tampa last week) and Jason (in LA now, but we went the last time SP played NYC proper) Anyway, when I clicked back I noticed it said "35 people live streaming now" 😂 Just wanted to tell you that ha. It was most appreciated. They sound better than ever, and i absolutely love when James uses his new Ray Gun 🔫 (like on the talking heads Once in a Lifetime cover and ZERO ⭐!!) You guys seem so warm and inviting! Happy to meet ya too!!
Thanks so much for joining Jay! This was a great show for sure. And your Raygun comment…can’t agree more! Thanks for enjoying and hope we see you again 🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
I been tuning in to Jack's live IG feeds all tour (got to see interpol, rival sons... Even STP when they opened for them on the West not-the-best Coast) and one of the check ins /streams was on the bus right after Tampa and Jeff and James were talking about La Croix of all things... Oh and then Jack and Jeff were talking about Peach Pop Tarts... Anyway not a lotta people .. so basically everything I wrote he would say aloud to them (Katie was there too) but basically it felt like I was having a conversation with James and Jeff in person (through Jack). JAMES was even seated at the table (just across from jack.... Live streaming) So... In bizarro simulation land here I felt like I was actually at a private talk with James Iha. so... Effin... Bizarre ... Anyway, boyhood fantasies aside... jack was talking about his Ray Gun (again. He also did a live stream on IG just him and billys guitar tech. In an empty darkened blue arena .. so eerie and cool. And oddly the fog machine had been on enough for some reason just before that the whole massive indoor amphitheater - can't remember where this was.... Vegas? Maybe? Was still hazy foggy misty crazy.... ) ANYWAY all I wanted to say was at some point I said "ON YER NEXT TOUR YOU SHOULD SELL RAY GUN 🔫 TEE SHIRTS" AND they all got really excited about the idea. Like. Even Jeff, who never seems excited about anything James actually said it was a great idea and he wanted to talk to Billy about it. Oh em geee could you imagine!? I haven't bought a Smashing Pumpkins shirt since like... 2007 but I totally TOTALLY would get a JAMES IHA RAY GUN SHIRT in a heartbeat. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it
"The world is a vampire 🎶" 😁 Smashing Pumpkins! My favourite band Uncle, Auntie 😁 "Zero" is the best song for me, how about you? Anyway, love this music content 👍
Yes agree! This s a great band! I can't forgive my self to missed this stream 😭 We are in the same box music wise. I play the 🥁 with my mates for "Zero" and "1979". Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness is a grreat album. Much ❤ Uncle and Auntie 😁
Too bad we didn't run into you! we could have talked about how great this was! They sounded better than they have in a while, and that Jones Beach sound system, is always amazing! 🥁🎸🎤🤘🔥
Anthony grew a long hair from rocking in the concert. Just one strand though. Sorry I missed this LIVE. Gorge gave me bogus tickets. I ended up in an alley seeing a guy smashing actual pumpkins, something about Halloween being ran by corporations and lizard people. The usual rant.

@@jaysharpESQ I concur, especially after that story, that a James Iha Raygun t-shirt or any shirt sounds great!
Fantastic stream! You’re both the best ❤

Ronnie, you kill me! My hair was much longer after the show, lol. Darn George, slipping you the pumpkin-smashing championship tickets! 😠
