Other than safety concerns (venting etc) and easier maintenance, why in the world would anyone prefer Outboard engines on a Yacht as opposed to Inboard setup??? it looks like the creatures from Alien trying to come up the back of the boat!! 😁💩🤓
Outboards are preferred for shallow waters (South Florida/Gulfside, The Keys, etc); needless complexity vs simple (outboard). Less weight on the stern, better balance when cruising. This platform could buzz down from Clearwater, FL to Bahia Honda Key (about 270 nautical miles) and snug up to many barrier islands/Keys, inlets that a inboard might not. If something breaks, easier to fix and maintain. Good for Regal; all I would do is recommend they build this for fishing plus cruising.

Salt is the big thing. Not much for our market as prefer sterndrives/pods, but could see for the saltwater application

The added space with the in boards removed it a bonus as well ,,, more working room usually , easy of maintenance. I prefer the xo model
