There is something about the calmness of the environment, the overgrown grass and vines, the guitars that sets the mood of "its gonna be alright" but the sad part is that you are the very last person (or so you think) on earth. Overall, you know that no living thing can cause any harm to you any more so you live your last days in peace until you perish and earth remains one vast desolate landscape in ruins
The calmness is precisely because there's no one else. Finally I'm at peace (introvert).
Some of the best moments in tlou we're those slow moments with ambience like the giraffe or the theater
Moments like that make you wanna live in the game.
Been cooking up this sci fi alien zombie apocalypse story. This ambiance is perfect when sitting down to write

I imagine my self stuck i. An abandoned city trying to find food and supplies for survival while hiding and trying to kill monsters on the way seing no one but the monsters and me...
In a post apocalyptic situation, the music would not exist. But this one is very good.

something I never knew I needed
“I woke up on my cot with the light shining on my face through the window. The bunk room smelled like musky air and mold, that kinda smell you get when you enter an old dusty house. The other 8 bunks in my room were empty, guess the others got up first. I put on my nice cloths, a black t shirt some grey cargo pants with only a few holes, and of course my trusty combat boots.
I walked outside the bunk building, housed 100 people and it was a…well I wouldn’t call it a shithole. It wasn’t the cleanest building but it’s nicer than sleeping in those shitty tents that I used to sleep in back in Davenport. People of all shapes and sizes walked around the streets, some wore military gear and gas masks, others wore somewhat nice cloths and dresses. Some walked with kids while others carried chickens and had goats on leashes. Sea front district is what they called this place, they were able to wall it off from the rest of the land before the infected got a hold of it first. Not a bad place honestly, few dozen buildings couple dozen more smaller houses. The shopping area is were people trade goods and scrap to make a living or to get some eggs or some of that potato carrot and beet? I wanna say. Can’t be sure because this week it’s beets last week it’s whatever root they rip out of those farms. The farms are pretty nice I must say. Potato’s, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, beets, peas, squash. Not a bad selection
I bought a fresh apple from a guy in the market. Traded him 5 rifle rounds for it. God damn 5 good bullets gone but that apple was as fresh as the morning air. I walked over to the scout building chewing on my sour green breakfast ready to start the day.
Scouting wasn’t exactly a safe job all things considered. Going into old cities and wilderness gathering up shit that can be used to repair some of the solar panels or gardening supplies for the farms. The milita that run the city the Plauge Defenders and Exterminators or the P.D.E try and keep this city as well maintained as possible. Killing infected and defending against the cannibal tribes and the Raider gangs that live over in the Ruins. That’s the whole reason I joined anyway. I put on my vest, then my leather wrappings on my arms and legs, grabbed my AK-47 and last but not least….my trusted gas mask…..August 24 2086……another day in paradise
