Been recently working with this stone for the first time. I'm amazed by the power of it. Definitely healing in different ways. It does give courage, compassion and confidence. It does seem to help me be more in the present moment. Brings calm and strength. I'm blown away by it. I've worked with a few different kinds of stones. Haven't experienced one like this.💜
I honestly believe that recently, stones are calling to me more clearly than ever before. Today, I went to a local crystal shop and bought a Carnelian. I was ready to leave but I felt compelled to stay a little bit longer, just to have another look around. I crouched down to a lower shelf in a corner, and there it was: a flat bloodstone all by itself in a bowl. It was the last one! I took it and it fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. I immediately knew it was meant for me. By the time I got home, I felt the need to place it over my heart as I reclined in my couch. But then, I realized upon careful inspection (which I surprisingly hadn't noticed before) that it's actually shaped like a heart! I have kidney disease, I'm diabetic, and suffer from hypertension. When I place this stone on my heart chakra, it feels like all the negativity is "unclogging," and I can breathe again. I don't know if this makes any sense, but this what I feel when I work with this Bloodstone. Anyhow, I thought I wanted to share this with you and to thank you for your video once more. It made me appreciate my Bloodstone even more! 🙏

Thank you. My life partner of 7 years, ordered bloodstone last month. Since then he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and cancerous tumors in his lungs. I placed bloodstone and snowflake obsidian on an altar in his room. It was there when he passed away in his sleep Saturday morning. Spirit is so intuitive! I have been drawn to the stone since his passing and was just getting so much comfort from handling it, that I had to do a search for it's properties.
Bloodstone, citrine, selenite, obsidian, carnelian, labrodite, garnet, and phantom angel quartz have been some of my favorite. Its funny you said many of my favorites are masculine. 😆

Bloodstone is my birthstone and my lucky charm Bloodstone is a type of Jasper. The common variety is deep green with little red spots called Heliotrope, mostly mined in India, USA, Brazil and Russia. Another kind of bloodstone is called Seftonite (aka setonite or Vulcan Jasper) is mined in Africa (south africa or Madagascar)...it is greenish grey with larger red spots. Both kinds are true bloodstones.and have the same use in crystal healing I prefer to cleanse my stones using incense (frankincense and herbs) and charge them under moonlight, especially full moon. Bloodstone is safe to charge in sunlight but only is semi shade area away from direct sun no longer than two hours Bloodstone is good for blood disorders, hemorrhages, and bleeding. It boosts courage, intuition, and help recall dreams. For someone who is Pisces, bloodstone is said to combat laziness and offers emotional healing, as well as warn its ower of an upcoming danger or tragic events. It also protects its owner from deception Never expose bloodstone to salt,. saltwater or harsh chemicals. Never let small kids handle them or try to lick it as it contains poisonous elements. Also avoid getting it wet, if you must wash it you should do it quickly and thoroughly dry it afterwards.

I was never a person who gravitated to things like healing crystals. But about 20 years ago, a friend had some crystals and wanted to show me how they worked. I said, "No, because I don't believe in that kind of thing." We did it anyway and when i picked up the bloodstone there was an instantaneous feeling of calmness that flooded through me. I don't know how this happens, but it works.

I think it came from the bloodstone. Obsidian especially snowflake obsidian is said to reflect negative energy caused by enemies.
