I was shocked to hear the female defense lawyer won an award from special victims unit for having successfully defended 7 ppl charged with sexual assaults, I was also shocked that there is an award for such a thing.

The prosecution's closing was delivered much more effectively than the defense's. This defense attorney stumbled over her words 15+ times during close, and it makes her seem less confident in what she is saying. The energy and enthusiasm is a bit low, as well. It feels like the defense attorney should have practiced her closing a few more times. If she watched this video back, she'd be able to see what a big difference these minor errors make.

Guilty guilty guilty! Talking about the doctor that has books or whatever and who is supposedly more experienced, does not mean anything! Even Ellen Degenres has books written and always talked about “be kind to one another” yet she was always mean to her staff the truth eventually came out. Defence will obviously do everything they can to get a lesser penalty, but everything points out and SHOWS that Jessy IS GUILTY! All her moves, all her calls pretending to be Lynn.

    • @goll58
      @goll58 3 месяца назад

Although, I do agree CA case, he is guilty. However, there almost was not beyond a reasonable doubt regarding a few factors in that case. For example, there's just no way Sigfrado did not know he was doing this for one of Charlie's family. Also, he tried to run him off the road. Why would he essentially murder someone for him? That's not how the streets work. They would have 100% robbed him. Even if none of that is true, what would charlie have to gain from plotting to kill and pay to go through with this? I guess it's plausible, but it just doesn't make sense. Also, how did he not tell his own sister he was planning and ultimately went through with it. Just all seems all over the place.

What a total difference between the defence and prosecution attorneys!
The prosecution had all her points in a large A4-type folder, the pages
she turned as she made each submission.
The defence seemed totally disorganised and had her notes on numerous
scraps of yellow paper which, as she went on, she had difficulty placing
in some sequence on the lectern in front of her. She also sounded
like she was trying to remember her words, with long pauses.
All in all, if I was the defendant, I would begin kissing my ass goodbye!

Because Jessy herself kept changing her story. She knew the police was looking at her as the murderer. She should have kept her mouth shut until she had obtained a lawyer. This lawyer was not people-friendly, I think she caused this case to fail with her arrogance and know-it-all persona. Now she is re-litigating the case instead of a closing argument. The judge should have censured her, to say the least. The witnesses did not like her and, even her own witnesses she was so arrogant she did not address the jury and went straight into her notes... Instead of thanking the Jury and trying to appease them..terrible litigation and terrible disposition..Her client should have gotten a better lawyer...one was too arrogant and the other one looked lost most of the time or would start to argue with the witnesses...

I asked the same question and received a smart a** response. I was saying in general I’ve never heard of a death from eye drops. I wasn’t asking the idiot please explain how someone could suffer from ingesting eye drops. I’m watching the defense closing argument for the first time and she is pathetic. She needs to retire.

Who says, as in a defense attorney, “there were a lot of pills in her belly.” How about there were alot of pills in her stomach?

IM 100% SURE THAT THE MURDER CONVICTION WILL BE OVERTUNED ON APPEAL AS LONG AS THERE ARE GOOD LAYERS ON IT,, THIS PROSECUTION SERVICE ARE CORRUPT, AND ITS SHOCKING THAT THEY CAN DO THAT,, ALSORTS WHERE NEVER DONE IN THIS CASE,,

She must have used eye drops before this closing...😂 Trash. Stumbling over her words, timeline confused, and argumentative tone. Seen more cohesive school presentations before. Regardless of guilt the younger prosecution was way more prepared in closing. Like Kobe vs a 1st grader. Sad to see.

I hear the defence .. We hear her voice (even dry in her mouth = tell she's not comfetable at all) = She know her client is a cruel , mean, evil thief and murderer.
    - As a defence lawyerr she realy suck. At this trial im okey with it, but if I ??? about gulty or not, = not okey at all
Good to know and hear/see this case have this Judge who both been defence and prosecute- lawyer, - a Judge I've seen in some cases, and realy have respeckt for and trust rule this case fare.

The defense fought hard for their client and did their job but she is guilty of the theft for sure the evidence is damning. I'm not 100% convinced of the murder tho. She does need to be removed from society tho she's an absolute danger to others.

I'm at the same spot. Guilty on the theft for sure. Not convinced about the murder. She may very well be guilty but I do have reasonable doubt, I think.

Reasonable doubt by what standard? There was no one else in the victims life but this con artist. And on the day of her damn death the conniver is buying large screen TVs & apple watches ffs. And did you miss the part where she admits in the interrogation giving the victim eye drops in deadly amounts lol? Or the extensive search history on poisoning? Please don't ever accept Jury duty. 😅

Defenses arguments are fairly convincing. Seems like stealing is beyond reasonable doubt, but murder is below.
