      Giannis is the modern day Shaq. 30 ppg, over 10 rebounds, and over 60% on 2pt field goals

      Giannis is more of an Orlando Shaq, rather than a LA Shaq. There are 2 different Shaqs.

      Doneko Burnside nah I meant we might not ever see a 7’1 325 lbs center with strength, speed, and skill around the basket that commanded double teams soon as he touched the ball like Shaq. All these centers today want to do is shoot perimeter shots/3’s and have no strong post game

  • @RLSmith-jt8qj
    @RLSmith-jt8qj 4 года назад +1340

    Some people think shaq was just big but the diesel had quickness, explosiveness, great feet and really good touch around the rim. Also a monster rebounder in the playoffs, an underrated defensive presence and could pass the ball out of the double team really well.

    • @vizionaryentertainment8464
      @vizionaryentertainment8464 4 года назад +52

      Yea but a lot of other great bigs had all that as well. What set Shaq apart was his size and strength which Olajuwon, Ewing, Robinson all great but did not have.

      @@vizionaryentertainment8464 my point was that it wasn't the only part of his game. He had finesse and skill as well as strength so people need to stop talking about him like he was just big

      @vizionaryentertainment8464 4 года назад +9

      @@RLSmith-jt8qj Honestly at this point of his career he was just big lol. He still had the footwork and explosiveness going vertical but that quickness and slimmer body type he had in Orlando was out the window. He came to camp every year fat playing himself into shape coasting on his size alone

    • @RLSmith-jt8qj
      @RLSmith-jt8qj 4 года назад +31

      @@vizionaryentertainment8464 has still had some of the bounce and at times could still run the floor and put pressure on the defense in spots. No doubt shaq from Orlando and 01 shaq are 2 different models
