Zephyr Zipper. Not a pretty sight

    Nice video. Too bad for the Zipper. On the one you broke at the end, is the wood grain parallel to the rocket tube instead of the leading edge?

      Yes, it is. I actually didn't notice that until you mentioned it. I was positive I cut that correct. Guess i better pay closer attention.

    Sorry about the Zephyr. Did you drill the delay? I launched an I140 in my 4in rocket and drilled out 4sec to make it a 10sec delay. Each second is 1/32in so 4sec is 1/8in. Sorry if you already know this but might help others.

      Yes. I drilled it to a 10 sec. delay. It curved and went almost horizontal. If it went straight up it probably would have been good. Not sure why it curved.

      In the Zephyr? That was an aerotech I140 with a 10 second delay. For some reason it curved and went horizontal.
