Thank you so much for the solve BremSter! The trickiest part of the solve is definitely the part where the yellow 789s cannot both be in the 21-cage in the bottom-right. This was the rate-limiting step during testing, but when I noticed the logic during setting (ie, breaking the puzzle over and over before realizing what was going on) I couldn't resist building the break-in around it. I also nearly made the same logical leap regarding what 1 does in a cage outside the grid (it doesn't require a 1 next to it), so I built the step placing 1 in r1c6 to totally avoid that. Following that, you followed right along the intended path through the end (while noticing the other tricky steps).
Yes, it seems that the SudokuPad software assumes that only the digits 1-N are used in an NxN grid, and so the killer calculator will only show options using the digits 1-N.
Oh wow! That was a really cool puzzle! It was slow going for a while, but once I saw what was going on in c1 (about 30 min in for you), I flew through the rest of it. Amazing puzzle!
This puzzle kicked my rear. It's very interesting but it was haaaaard. x.x (I completely missed the thing Brem missed for a while, and while I saw a few other things Brem took longer to see, I also made some fat-finger data entry errors that really didn't help...)
Needed a few nudges from the beginning of BremSter's solve (the matching digits and the 1 in box 2), but then was able to find my way through the rest of the puzzle, finishing in 21:06 (conflict checker off). Definitely a bit of a challenging puzzle, many thanks to dumediat for it and to BremSter for presenting it!
Heads up to anyone else playing this that the Killer Calculator on Sudokuapp is broken for a few of the cages. I took one of them at face value and it sent me down a wild rabbit hole of being convinced the puzzle was impossible. (It looks like the solver thinks it can't use 9 in any of the cages.)

I love the ones that have such a flow you don't notice the time passing :)
Interesting puzzle but I got lost in the sauce and settled for watching Bremster.
Nicely solved hopefully I learned something lol.
There's a bug in the sudokupad stuff. The cage options lists do not contain anything with a 9 in them.
Noticed that myself.
Maybe it has something to do with it being a 6*6 grid?

@@dumediat_ That would limit it to 6, but it shows options with 8 in them. It only omits 9 from the options.
@@steveunderwood3683That’s because there are cages outside the grid where digits get entered, so SudokuPad thinks this is an 8x8 grid.

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Yeah this in the Trek realm for sure, but I couldn't resist including the yellow 789 logic haha
26:34. Quite tricky, very enjoyable and super smart! Love it 🎉
Your solve was great! 🤗
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzle!
Well I love your channel and I think you explain stuff well. I've learnt lots from you. Thanks
I found this one quite tricky. I had so many "d'oh, of course" moments.
17:04 for me. VERY fun rule !!
Thank you! I love the "escape the grid" concept for clues like this.

You're welcome, thanks for the comment!
A fun and short puzzle, done in 8:01
41:20 for me
nice puzzle

Yes, please see earlier comments about why this occurs with grids other than 9x9.
Quattroquadri is hard for me as it is. Adding the numbered rooms, and I was just completely lost.
You did that in about half the time I did.
