Quick and easy review. Thanks a lot 👍
You are welcome. Thank you for watching. :)
I've been thinking a lot lately about playing poker dice... but texas hold'em style... each player has two dice and a dice cup... they roll them and keep'em to themselves.... bet/raise/fold proceeds... then three separate dice are rolled (the flop) ... bet/call/fold may proceed... a fourth die is rolled (the turn) ... bet/call/fold may proceed ... a fifth die is rolled (the river) ... bet/call/fold may proceed ... players reveal their two dice... best hand made with any three of the public five dice takes the pot.
If they are hiding the dice from view then it's open to cheating as the dice rolls progress. Everyone gets 5 Aces.... Everytime?
Hmm. I think the description for Bust should be something like "none of the results above", because if all dice numbers are different, then you can have a Straight. Besides having a "hole" in a Straight, like, having a 1-2, then 4-5-6.
Nice catch! You are right :)
Hi, you might add 'Small Straight' as one of the dice rolls. It ranks higher than three of a kind and lower than full house.
Thank you for telling me about this. Sure, I will add it to the description.
@@riffleshuffleandroll Pleasure is mine, dear pal! Am a great fan of recreational math and dice and card games. There's a version of 'Shut the Box' using cards and dice I have in mind. Would you consider putting that up here?
@@riffleshuffleandroll A small straight is 1-2-3-4 or 2-3-4-5 or 3-4-5-6. I think you'd asked what a small straight looks like, but I can't see the question now.
That sounds like it could be fun. Email me when you have it ready to share. I can help play test it too.
@@riffleshuffleandroll Thank you so much. Will email the idea to you. I have play-tested it with kids, who found it great fun. You could do so too, and if you deem it worthwhile, you could put it up on your channel. And your suggestions to make it a game with an element of bluff to it would be welcome. Regards, Easwa
So its like yahze
Nice game.
Thank you!
How does one get all cards if you can only bet yours what if player 1 won first and than player 2 won everything else
What about values of full house.... Like Aces full of kings.... 6 full of 5 is higher that 6 full of 4... Or do you consider than flat and another round is done for a winner? Quad 6 or aces is higher than quad kings or 5's.
Also used with real poker dice
For example, I have a Full House (three 1s and two 6s), opposite player also has a Full House (three 2s and two 5s). Who will win?
The three 2's win because you compare the three of a kind.
I like those little chips - where did you get them?
They came with my copy of Sequence :)
@@riffleshuffleandroll Oh I see lol. I hadn't heard of that game before. Looks quite good, I might pick it up.
Sequence is one of my favorites to play. :)
I could get into this game but it’s not as compelling as Texas Hold’em I think
I have a problem. If player 1 just rolled a 4 of a kind (wich is good) he will probably raise the bet. Lets say at the start they all betted 10$. So player 1 raises the bet to 15$. If player 2 and 3 want to keep their money, they need to raise their bet to 15$ too (if they dont raise they lose their 10$). But what if player 2 only has 4$ remaining. That means he can't raise his bet. Does he then just lose the money? Because that way, player 1 can always raise the bet 1$ more than player 2 has, wich means player 2 will never be able to raise their bet, and lose their money automatically wihout getting the chance to roll the dice. Please explain...
The player with $4 would just go all in and get a chance to roll
How is a "bust" different from a large strait?🤔
Any reason why I couldn't play with actual poker dice?
You absolutely can. This is an alternative to that. :)
Or maybe you were playing texas hold em
@@baxtinator2153 No.
why did player 2 had 2 rolls when player one decided he would only go with 1 roll. wtf
Each player can roll 1, 2, or 3 times. It is up to the player.
