I live in Fukuoka city between Hakata and Tenjin. I wish I would have known you were going to be in the area. You missed the food stalls in Hakata but I'm glad you got the Hakata ramen. You also missed out on Tenjin and Dazaifu. I'm surprised the app didn't recommend it to you. I've also been to Canal City, Ohori park and Suito a few times for events. When I first moved to Japan I dropped my phone into the lake around the spot you were having a picnic haha.
Shiori and Emma is literally the best thing about this RUclips channel, and then throw in a collab with Chris/Natsuki from the abroad channel and you've got high class content.

My favourite part of Fukuoka was the Momochi Seaside Park while it was absolutely pissing it down and windy as hell. Broke my konbini umbrella. Good times. And I bought a schmancy camera at Canal City that was sold out everywhere else.
I've been to Fukuoka for 24 hours similar to you guys, and it was raining heavily. We spend the day in Canal City which was super fun! Took a little walk around the city when it stopped raining for a bit, and ended up in a Yatai. There we sat next to a Japanese elderly couple who were so happy to introduce us to the concept of Yatai, they ended up ordering all kinds of food for us and paid everything. So nice!!
Shiori is always fun to watch and she looked like she had an absolute blast getting to make an outdoor/exploring episode. I really hope we see more episodes of her exploring with Emma, they make a great team. 👍

Only been in the south.. and honestly it is great! Not crowded with tourists unlike famous cities like Osaka or Tokyo! It is definitely a place to go :)
I have a lot of friends in Fukuoka and I went to this little island called Ainoshima (Love island) because we know someone that lives on it and we did a super fun camp thing.
😢😭 lived 5 months in Fukuoka.. I miss everything! Great video. My favorite place? There are so many! Walk around tenjin, walk by night in Nakasu,..but my favorite place is Atago Jinja!!
That Canal City place looks amazing! There is a theater there too cause I remember when they performed one of the recent Sailor Moon musicals (the regular ones, not the Nogi46 ones) in Fukuoka, that's where it was at. I wonder how that went, especially since Yamato Yuuga (actress for Tuxedo Kamen in those myus) is from Fukuoka too. Don't know if you know of vloggers Rachel and Jun, but they just moved to Fukuoka recently too.
So much great food that you girls ate that night and so many places to go! Pink strawberries and more sweets, too! 😋 So, I find it difficult to select a favorite, though. Canal City sort of reminds me of River Walk in San Antonio, Texas.

in 2015 i went to fukuoka for 2 weeks :D a Friend of mine was living for around 1.5 years there so i visited him and we had a lot of fun in the city :D I stayed in a Hostel and did meet a lot of people :P My Favorit restaurant in that time was the "Hakata Issou" and i wish i could eat there more often ... ;( need to come back :3 Miss some of the food .. we dont have that good Ramen in Germany :( Fukuoka is awesome
Man, this clip brings back memories. Natsukashi! The Tonkotsu Ramen was really good in Hakata. I didn’t go to any of the chain stores like Ippudo or Ichiran though. Instead, I went to Ramen Stadium at the top Floor of Canal City, where there is an entire Floor with different Ramenshops serving Ramen from different regions in Japan. I believe they had 8 different Ramen shops. Also , Emma needs to up her Natto-game.. ☝️

I went to Fukuoka in November for the sumo, it's a great city very easy to get around. Also if you were going to have Ippudo you might have well has stayed in Tokyo.
