Thank you for making this video. Born and raised out in the west, disconnected from my Puerto Rican family and heritage, and the only way I feel a connection is through the food I have been making growing up and learning to make more dishes.
If i could have 1 meal forever its empanadas and arroz con gandules..I add potatoes n cheese to my empanadas along with the picadillo.....OMG this best meal ever to me.Nvr tried it with mayo/ketchup..maybe some hot sauce but imo they are the perfect food alone. When i make empanadas i can do no less then 60....i try to make extra to freeze but they never last that long. I have family n friends that want to pay me for them..😊
